This hotel is old and tired but the room when I finally found one that did not smell musty and sink underfoot with rot, was great. It was in the 4000 series of rooms. It was one of few that had some view of the golf course and distant mountains and forest nearby. The room also had a newer mattress and not the old sinking one of the first room which was on ground floor and looked into a dark dingy courtyard with all the old outside aircon units sending their stale air and noise into the courtyard. The second room was also musty and the bedhead was mildew stained. It overlooked the golf course BUT also the car park and the many scooters that come and go and that make an incredible amount of noise. Finally and sadly, this part of Pecatu is both under renovation and construction so you see and here bulldozers and construction noise and mess all hours of day and night. The beach is not a beach - it is a hazardous sliver of massive killer ocean waves. They drive you down there for free but you have to walk through mess and a rubbish dump to get to this so called beach. It is not at all dreamland. DO NOT GO to PECATU - it is not ready for tourists.There are not shops and nowhere to change money. Solo travellers are at risk.

A terrible experience!
Nothing was good about this hotel.

Check was a disaster, they lost our bags in their storage, the rooms were dirty, the cooridors dark and small wirh no lighting, and no signage to find our way to the lobby. Horrible hotel.

we had a great time in LeGrande, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They only serve few types of breakfast but it was good. The room is clean with a great bathroom. It's near Dreamland beach and also surrounding beachs. Overall it is comfortable hotel.

We booked for two nights but we checked out a day early. disappointing. The layout was like a maze, it was very confusing to get around. Location is not convenient. The staff does not what was going on, the service was very bad.
