Staff's English was very poor We stayed at Legian Express Hotel for less than 5 hours, just as a stop-over on Bali (before heading to Lombok the next morning). The hotel was less than expected based on the write-up on Agoda. Unfortunately the room was dirty (our feet got dirty from walking on the floor) and musty... The bedsheets and the towels smelled clean but they were gray and not white as they were supposed to be. The bed was old and the mattress had a big dent in the middle, so we slept in a bundle in the center of the bed. We had to leave the hotel early the next morning and didn't get a chance to have breakfast as nothing was being served by 7.15am (they said breakfast would start at 7am). However, looking at how dirty the restaurant was (table cloths had a gray layer of dust), I'm not that sure I would have eaten there anyways. I felt it was such a shame for the hotel to be so poorly maintained, as the building, pool and landscaping was quite nice. The only thing needed would have been a good clean and change of certain broken furniture. In conclusion this hotel is suitable for backpackers looking for a cheap place to spend the night in A/C and with a pool, but with no other requirements.

This hotel is located at the center of Legian, which is a very good spot. The food is not that good, fortunately, there are a lot of restaurants nearby. And the room condition is quite disappointing and in need of more maintenance.
