Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful Beautiful pool area and grounds, spotlessly clean Decent restaurant with reasonable prices Good breakfast included Nice beach with very few hawkers

Ocean is always rough and not really suitable for swimming The hotel is not close to any nightlife and there are very few restaurants close by

We visited the hotel twice on our visit to Bali and stayed in a standard room and beachfront deluxe room, both were excellent and spotlessly clean. The hotel is off the beaten track a relief after staying in the Kuta area. You are 30 minutes by cab from Seminyak for shopping and night life though it is only $4.00 each way by taxi. The beach is popular with surfers but not good for swimming. The beach is nice but could be a bit cleaner and there are few hawkers to pester you.Great pool and grounds with nice cool breezes most of the time we were there.

well maintained hotel & gardens.

Boring, isolated, hostile management.

My time at this hotel was very disappointing, management was rude(barking orders to staff & finger pointing)and arrogant/indifferent to guests. The location is isolated, and the atmosphere of the hotel is non-existent. I'm sure for the $$ you could do much better elsewhere. Only positive was the room was clean and spacious.

This is a great hidden jem of a hotel away from all the crowds of Kuta. The deluxe rooms are worth the extra 10 bucks, they're huge by any standards. The staff is generally nice and helpful. A word of advice for anywhere in Bali- if somebody doesn't seem to understand English very well you might not want to take their advice, they can send you to the wrong place or give you the wrong information rather than admit they didn't understand you.

The hotel is located very far away from any restaurants so you have to eat in the hotel if you are enjoying the perfect beach and pool. The food wasn't bad but some things were very dirty- like the shared milk pitcher at breakfast had brown gunk built up inside, and the coffee pot hadn't been rinsed in years. gross! Also the spa was dirty too, they didn't sterilize the manicure cutting tools which can easily transmit disease. But you always have to keep an eye out when you're traveling to a place that has different standards than those you're used to.

I stayed at the Legong Keraton Beach Hotel for 2 nights which I booked through Agoda for a VERY cheap price. I then extended my stay through the hotel and they wanted to charge me double the price so I had to negociate. In the end, when I checked out, the hotel gave me a very bad exchange rate which I thought was kind of sneaky not to mention. I recommend you book through Agoda for your entire stay including if you want to extend. Also be sure to ask about the exchange rate to your native currency when negociating, Balinese people are lovely but they won't hesitate to make a quick buck at the tourists' expense. Good luck!

Travel tip : Hire a driver for about 40 usd per day to see lots of sights at once, its much more convenient than organized tours and a better price too. Be sure to see the Monkey Forest.
