Staff very friendly, view of beach from hotel is fantastic, amenities great too. Staff whilst friendly, speaks limited English which makes it very difficult to communicate. This hotel is very far from the guts of Seminyak/Kuta/Legian which can be annoying. Mosquitoes also a problem ... they were buzzing everywhere !!! My partner and I stayed at this hotel with another couple. We were surprised at how far the hotel is located in relation all the hustle and bustle of Bali. Having said that, we think the hotel is great in that it has amenities to entertain us eg. massage service, pool, restaurant etc. We had great experience here. This hotel is right on the doorstep of some fantastic surfs and accordingly, attracts a lot of surfers ... meaning tourists. However, the staff speaks such little English which at times we found that they got our order wrong and can be frustrating. My recommendation is that the hotel should send their staff to some basic English courses. This will help immensely.
Shopping Tip : Wear light clothing and comfortable shoes

the rooms are a good size, breakfast was very good with everything on offereven home made jams yum, lovley quiet resort with great surf, also they have transport into main shopping areas. their really was nothing to dislike, everything was very good. this lovley quiet spot is great for people who like to get away from the main stream hussle, we went for walks along the beach and found lovley little cafes along the beach front food was great, surfing was very good straight out the front, very pleasant grounds and garden, pool area was very clean,the hotel dose supply transport for those who dont have their own and want to do some shopping, all round great experince.
Restaurant Tip : lots of lovley little restaurants close by, just a short walk along the beach, no trouble even at night, very safe, also noticed a yoga class just down the road.

Peaceful location away from everything

Reasonably priced food and drink
Clean and tidy Nothing really we liked the hotel This is a quiet hotel, but this is what we were after! We had just arrived from Kuala Lumpur and enjoyed our 4 days lazing by the pool and eating the great food from the restaurant. There's a free shuttle twice a day to the Kuta/Seminyak area and a taxi back cost us about 50,000 rupiah (about 3 GBP Sep 09).
Great for surfing and there's a hire shop next door.
The breakfast was a little disappointing however lunch and evening meals were great and very reasonably priced. We stayed in a deluxe room, good air con, basic decor but no complaints.
Shopping Tip : Haggle and don't be afraid to walk away!
