Initially was told no double rooms on arrival. But upon checking realised hotel gave a Standard room and not the one booked? After complaining twice was fixed but dId not set the tone for an enjoyable stay.
Hotel is a basic 3 star level and depending on price obtained could be reasonable value but never great value. On a positive side pool is good, all afternoon drinks and snacks available. Breakfast basic with acceptable variety but not timely for day trips out.
Room quality varies dramatically from standard to deluxe with amenities very basic so ensure to bring your own.

Well-priced mid-range small hotel in excellent location close to shops and tourist attractions. Very pleasant attentive staff made us feel right at home. Hotel is small enough so that you get to know other guests - it's intimate and friendly. Smallish breakfast buffet but of very good quality food. An excellent place to stay.

Perfect for visiting Ubud

We enjoyed our stay at Lumbung that we already plan to stay there again on our next trip. The room was comfortable, staff was great, breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring Ubud. You could walk to restaurants/bars, Monkey Forest, Ubud Market, and Temples. There is no need for any transportation unless you go outside Ubud.
An added bonus was the fast internet and English tv selections. We recommend Three Monkeys and Lemonade for restaurants and Laughing Buddah and CP for drinks/music.
