not bad, i like. good location to shopping but the hotel difficult to found it cause location of the hotel is behind the suka pandawa shop. entry this hotel must through the hallway. this hotel don't have the main gate.

Our stay at the Matahari bungalows was good but the location on Legian St was the opposite of what we expected it is wall to wall traffic, bars and restaurants not the quiet Bali we expected but if you want to party then it will suit you also there was a big New Year festival during our stay and whilst in the crowds at Kuta I had my wallet stolen from my pocket which obviously spoilt my day, so I will be a lot less trusting and more careful in future, my safety deposit box key was in the wallet and the hotel wanted $125 for replacement which made my loss even worse

This place was very relaxing. It was a relief to get out of the noise and traffic outside the hotel and get a dip in the pool.
Prices were cheaper on Agoda than in person so when I wanted to extend my stay I booked and paid on-line.

This place was nice. They wouldn't give us an early check in. They helped get us a good driver for a tour. . They burned my shirt with an iron but then paid me the value of the shirt in cash.
All in all the hotel is nice bus a little overpriced, even with the discount here.

Great hotel, seedy town

This place is awesome. We came to Bali to relax, but Kuta is a dirty, loud and busy place. Luckily we booked at Matahari. It's big and quiet. There is a nice big garden and beautiful pool. There's a swim-up bar and full food service all day.
We got an upgraded room because we booked on agota. It is clean and the sheets and towels were changed every day.
The breakfast is awesome... western style or Balinese. The coffee is water, though.
The dirty beach is about a 20 minute walk through crazy narrow streets with terrible traffic.
Excellent and relaxing spot.

Great place in an otherwise forgettable town. The garden was beautiful, the room was fully furnished with all the goodies and cold air-con.
Breakfast was good and the restaurant served good food for a fair price.
