The Good Hotel for 3 star and service with a smile
Traditional Balinese Rooms, with flowers everywhere, large rooms, with exotics sea view as a background.
8.3
Everything is nice except for the breakfast menu... please widen the variety of foods and drinks.
Travel tip:
For other travelers we recommend this hotel though it's not too big but the hospitality is so divine...the surroundings makes you comfortable and you can sun bathing so easily during the daylight. If you want to be romantic the sun rise is lovely for the venue.

A good stay on the Benoa Pennisula
A beautiful small hotel, well located
9.7
We needed a place to stay in Nusa Dua untill our friends returned home. The Matahari gave us a large, nicely furnished, well equipted room for a reasonable price. Breakfast included. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is healpful. The off street parking is covered. The pool is great. The "beach" is manmade and the water is shallow. The Bambu Bali, on of the best restaurants on the island is net door.

We were in honeymoon trip. Front office officer was very friendly, unfortunately we didn't have double bed room, there was only twin share bed left. But they were very kind to help us joined the twin bed.
Breakfast was not buffet, we only can chose one of the breakfast menu and there was only 4 breakfast menu.
The sanitary need to renovate, I think it's too old for this hotel. The TV is also to old and to small for the medium size room.
However, we enjoy our stayed in this hotel.

The hotel room is really pretty and clean. It's also very spacious. The dinner area is small but the food is pretty tasty. Good for value

Great Location
Excellent location, value for money, cleanliness, size of the room

The Hotel is truly excellent value for money. The room was large and spacious and clean. The staff were courteous except the front desk that kept promising that the WIFI facility would be fixed evry day but it never happened during our entire stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Plenty of restaurants just outside the Hotel

Nice quiet hotel but lacked many amenities
7
Quiet place good for relaxation and some peace. Beach was really disappointing and can be quite dirty with flotsam. Was originally intending to play with my girl at the beach but seeing the condition, we decided to play in the hotel's pool instead. If you want a nice beach, my advice is to stay away from Tanjung Benoa. The whole stretch of beach is quite pathetic.

Matahari Terbit Hotel
A wonderful, relaxed atmosphere in a fantastic position. The architecture and lush greens.
9.3
My arrival at this boutique hotel was met by friendly front desk staffs and a chilled welcome drink. The hotel offers exquisite Bali architecture and lush green envelop the surrounding. The all staffs there was nice. Generally we had memorable time there and it's a good hotel which worthy to go back again.
Restaurant Tip:
Casa Bella restaurant opposite the hotel is so great services.

Truly Balinese feel. Real good for couple retreat.
Really value for money. It turned out to be better than I expected.
7.7
The hotel overall is very resort feel. It captured my heart the moment I walked in. I do a lot of travelling as my job needs me to travel, so I think this is really different. This Balinese style Bungalow hotel is really cozy. The room is very spacious, the staff is very curtious. I am so amazed that some of the staff even speaks fluent German. It's amazing. I would definetely recommend this hotel if you are a couple looking to relax by the beach, have some water sports and just laze around.
