This was a good villa which had a private pool and spacious open living area. They keep surrounding very private so you could spend a whole day just to take a nap beside the pool. The only matter is the service was very slow. And our worst enemy was a mosquito.

Our villa was a haven in the midst of busy Seminyak. It was extremely private - and having our own pool was fantastic. I loved the shower which is sort of outdoors (with a roof) and the spaciousness of the accommodation in general. There's no where to really put your clothes away so we did live out of our suitcases. The mozzies were the only thing that spoiled our completely enjoyment of Mayaloka.. they are fierce and in abundance and meant that it was impossible for us to sit outside at night comfortably (despite the mozzie coils that are provided). We found it was best to sit in the pool to avoid getting bitten (which was pretty lovely I have to say!) The staff are really fantastic and couldn't be more helpful and the breakfasts were amazing.. all in all I'd recommend staying here unless you particularly sensitive to mozzie bites.

very simple to enjoy a nice relaxation at this villa.
only downside for me, was the food offered was not very appealing. this is a shame, as i would have happily dined in my villa a number of times, if the menu had been more inviting.

Restaurant Tip:
Tekor Bali, Double Six, Legian Kaja, Kuta. A great place to eat.

This was a lovely villa. Excellent space for the living room and pool. I would highly recommend for a couple but not for more. The location is not that great and is on a really bad road. The beach is also hard to get to and not very nice. However, if you want to relax and just stay in your villa, it is the best!!

after our arrival we realised the bedroom air conditioner was not working, so the friendly staff did their best to keep us happy by shifting us to a new villa. the living area was well thought out and very enjoyable. the room service was ok, the reception staff were very good.
for a quiet getaway mayaloka is just the thing. we enjoyed the generous space and pool.

Definitely won't recommend this hotel

Upon arrival they gave us a villa that was dirty with broken faucet, and damp bedsheets & blanket. We asked to be moved to another villa.
The villa was a little better but still with damped bedsheets & blanket. The outdoor bath was not clean with lots of insects.
The room that I was in had a dead cockroach in the corner. Because I noticed it in the morning I figured that room service will take care of that. But upon arriving back at the villa in the evening, despite that the room has been 'cleaned' the cockroach was still in the sampe spot. We stayed 3 nights and until the day we checked out, the cockroach was never moved which means they never cleaned the floor.
The low ceiling also has spider webs. The location of the spider webs are easily seen and since the ceiling is quite low, it's really easy to clean these which is no excuse to have these kind of things in a villa room.
The road into the villa was going thru a 300 m small road full of pot holes. And at night when coming back into the villa, wild dogs are roaming the lobby area (which has no fence or security and very dark).
I will never ever stay in this place again nor will I recommend this place to others. For the price that we paid, we can definitely get a much better place in Bali. STAY AWAY!!
