We opted for a short stay in a private villa to have a quiet holiday. The welcome at Melia Bali was warm, and the service standards were very high.
Although the facilities are 27 years old, one would be forgiven for not noticing this. The grounds are very well kept with every attention to detail. The private villas are spacious with two showers and a bath-tub, private swimming pool with lounge area, and a garden pavilion.
The rooms are turned down regularly and efficiently.
There is a very nice private beach, as well as dining areas catering to all palates. In addition, there is a shopping mall called "Bali Collections" located 10 minutes from the grounds offering extensive dining choices, shopping and massage services.
