Good Resort Hotel for Family or Couples
Next to the big shopping & Dining Mall - Bali Collection

the hotel compound is big and equipped with good facilities - pool and beach sports. i booked a lagoon access room especially for the kids but the building blocked the sunshine so the lagoon water is always quite cold! the beachside bbq dinner was enjoyable with live performance - live music + balinese dance.
Restaurant Tip:
bali collection is just 15-20 minute walk from the hotel where there are many restaurants though serving more or less the same kinds of food - bbq seafood + italian (pizza & spaghetti). don't forget to ask for a discount - at least 15-20% in foods and even drinks for me after further bargain.

I was stay 5 days. all is a great. I want give 99% perfect. But 1% is a room condition. it's a old. Except room condition all is perfect.
Shopping Tip:
i went to kuta etc...but dont' need to there. The bali collection is near to hotel. Availible walking. very nice place.

Great place to stay , right on the beach with great pools and lots of activities provided throughout the day. Service is definately 5 star. The rooms are very good but nothing special. You spend all your time outside anyway.
Travel tip:
Buy your beer and snacks from outside in Buaru village and stock your bar fridge. The tax's are a killer in the hotel.

The first day of the lights in my room died suddenly at midnight, and then the next day I complain to the room manager is Mr. murdana made this problem
I was finally given a bonus to stay one night free at melia bali

We stayed here for 5 days in a villa, and it was amazing. The resort is huge and Nusa Dua is a calm relaxing environment away from the hustle of Kuta.
The staff were lovely and couldn't ask for better service.

Right next door is Bali Collections which has several really good restaurants

it is great to get away to relax, but sometimes a business man needs to check in. i found their wifi policy outrageous. you have to go to a bar or restuarant and order something just to receive an hour of usage. they wanted to charge you just to check your emails. this is old school ideals. i found it offensive that a hotel of this calibur would be so greedy to charge for internet usage.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not stay here if you need to stay in touch with the outside world. They are too concerned to charge you for the simplest of communications.
