Nice and Big Hotel, with beautiful beach

we stayed at a room with directly access to pool. it was a nice view. room is big and clean. we loved the beach and spent lot of time there. but this hotel is quite big, so too many people in every place. not a good experience at breakfast. too many people, too noisy. there is even a person promoting spa when we had breakfast!

the lotus restaurant is too noisy in the evening due to some business group. The dinner is just so so but the breakfast is nice. The room is smelly and bedding is damp.

This is my second visit after several years back. Melia Bali is my choice for both of my stays in Bali. Despite years after first visit, their service is still fantastic. this hotel is located in nusa dua, one very nice place away from the bali traffic jam, perfect for relax. the hotel has a very nice landscape and good facilities specially for kids. the room is big and comfortable but has some smelling, i think due to the wood furniture. the breakfast and food are good as well.

It was my first time to go Bali. I choose Melia because it's very close to the beach and the price it's acceptable.
It's a very big hotel. At the beginning, i feel hard to find my room. Hahahaha~ i really like that hotel.
We went to swimming every day. I think it's also a very good choice for families.
Oh, we fly from Jakarta to Bali, so there is one hour time difference,but we didnt know. so we went for breakfast one hour late!! Just want to remind of you guys, dont make that stupid mistakes as us. Enjoy your trip!
Shopping Tip:
There is a short cut to go to the shopping mall. Go to the end of the beach and there is a road with some small shops. Only 10-15mins walk to there.

I have a very nice stay in Melia Bali. The staffs are very mice, the room is clean and the buffet breakfast is very good. I can see sunrise in the beach. However, the low water pressure is very disguesting. No water when we took bath.
Overall, Melia Bali is still recommended.

We loved our stay at the Melia. Booking a lagoon access suite was the best thing we did. Travelling with 2 young children (3 year old and a 17 month old) the lagoon access suite gave my husband and I the opportunity to sit on our private deck with direct access to the lagoon pool for a dip while our boys slept during the day and at night. This hotel also offers a main pool and access to a private beach, we only used the main pool once as we found that the lagoon pool was sufficient for our needs and was much quieter.
The resort is set amongst gardens and it is truly beautiful and relaxing. Unfortunately for us we were forced to use room service quite a bit because by that time of the night our boys were tired and cranky. Room service was dissapointing, very expensive (as you expect with room service) we would have loved the opportumity to get out more and try some different food, but our circumstances didn't allow it. There were restaurants around that offered far better value for money even at Bali Collection which is only a short walk along the beach.
Apart from the room service (which was caused by our specific circumstances and not by a lack of better options)this hotel delivered a wonderful break for my husband and I and our 2 young children.
