Salubrious ambience. Peripheral jogging track and a number of swimming pools and small but well equipped gym -all promoting to good health.
Excellent rooms and the scumptious breakfast fit for a king. You do not need lunch. We were family and they surprised us with an upgrade. Lovely living room in betweent he two rooms.Well mannered staff. Highly recommended
Slightly far from the bustling town and taxis can be expensive.
Restaurant Tip : Melia has the best buffet breakfast.

The friendly staff always had a greeting for you. The amazing buffet breakfast..that was a great start of my day.The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and immaculate with LCD TV's. The tropical gardens is a photographers paradise and a fantastic swimming pool. Staff are always willing to help you out. Great late dinners with Balinese Dancers. Activities throughout the day.
Nusa Dua isn't the Real Bali, however staying here was a bit far from the entertainment scene. But if you wanted to see a local market..it's about a 20 min walk outside of the hotel. Ask the staff they will guide you to some local eateries and market ( bargain HARD at the markets and know your prices because they tend to shoot for the highest possible price!)
The oceanfront beach wasn't all that great, bit rocky but nontheless adequate ( but they do have a great pool to make up for it)
Before arriving in Nusa Dua you have to pass security in which they check everything (trunk, hood, and travellers) which in my opinion was a feeling that i felt very safe. Upon arriving at the hotel you are greeted with Balinese dancers (depends on time of day). I was stunned at the whole front lobby as it is very big with comfortable seating in a beautiful setting. The hotel as a whole was an awesome experience for me and my family and will return..definitely!
The rooms are spotless and i mean it!, comfortable with all the accessories that you'd need ( toothbrush, soaps, etc.). It's a huge hotel that really cares about it's customers comments and opinions.
As i said in the CONS, it is a bit far..but we actually didn't mind the 20 minute walk to see some local options: Restaurants and markets
I'd definitely come back to this hotel again.!
Shopping Tip : Please ask staff at the Melia for the directions to: The Bali Collection Shopping mall- go there when the sunsets..nice atmosphere)and the markets
( both places you should really go to and are in walking distance from Melia)
If you go the Market..please don't accept the 1st price they give you..BARGAIN HARD..and look around before you buy...a lot of people are selling almost identical things..you'd be surprised at how much the price fluctuates

room, wonderful spa, very good service
sometimes the smell in the bathroom wasn't very good
Stayed for 3 nights and would recommend the hotel. Rooms are big with nice balcony, polite staff (all could speak english), excellent breakfast. The beach is nice but unfortunately while we were there the tide wasn't too high so didn't have to much chance to swim in the sea. The greatest value is the spa... could spend the whole day in there.
