The hotel service is for sure the best selling point there is - it was like being home... The location of the hotel is not the best. The hotel restaurant is not promoting/doing enough to keep the hotel visitors there. I would strongly suggest that more events (not only posters) but real events is being arranged to keep the hotel visitors eating at the hotel - it could be live music, dance etc. - Besides from that I suggest that in the selling material of the hotel it should be mentioned that its good if you want a quit vacation - not if you want to be close to citylife, nice beaches etc. But in general I was really happy about my stay and will for sure recoment it to others.
Travel tip : Peace and quietness...

Very clean rooms and even though they are a little tired they were being refurbished whilst we were there. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Prices were on par with other hotels in the area. Like most rooms in Bali the reading lamps were not very effective. The hotel is very quiet and well located but about a ten minute walk to the beach itself. Staff are all very helpful and knowledgable. Rooms are well priced and neat and clean and everything worked well.

Wafting smell of sewerage in the bathroom which circulated the whole room at times. Air conditioner very noisy. Staff at this hotel were friendly. Hotel not located on the beach but a 5 minute walk to get there. Very noisy in the room due to air conditioner. The wafting sewerage smell was on going in the bathroom and permeated the sleeping area making it unpleasant at times. Pool and gardens were well kept and visually pleasing. Room and bed comfortable except for the odour.

Kind staffs except the receptionist. First of all, it's not worth the money for this standard. Old buildings and an aircon that doesn't work well. Mildew is on the walls and bathroom ceiling. Little ants are all over the room and our luggages.

Very clean bed and bathroom, good facilities, helpful staff, relaxing pool and good location for the beach and shuttle bus stops. Arriving at Bali in new year holidays, we could have really nice time there during our back-packing travel. We also appreciate quick responce for reservation.

Restaurant was reasonably priced, staff was very friendly. No Sky or Foxtel in the room, only free TV with Indonesian channels. The location is not the best, but ok. The hotel rooms are nice. Staff was also very friendly. The restaurant was excellent and with very nice waitresses. The gardens and the pool look nice. They provide a luggage room free of charge, which we used it to leave our luggage for 3 days so we didn't have to carry it to Noosa Lebongan.
I would stay there again and recommend this hotel.

Located off the main road by a short 2 minute walk, the place is very quiet. The staff was courteous and friendly.
Huge rooms Bathrooks were older but clean. For the price, the place wasn't bad. The only issue is location. If you want to be near the action, you're in the wrong place though there is a great jazz club about a 5 minute walk away and a few small cafes to relax at.

Room was clean. The breakfast that came with the room was nice. It was quiet. There was no English programming on the TV. There was minor construction outside our bathroom window so there was little sense of privacy. Although the room was less expensive than most, it was expensive to get to the hotel by taxi ($10) and the hotel was going to charge us $15 to return. The odd electrical sockets made it impossible to use a computer in the room. I asked several times for an adapter so that I could do something on my computer and nothing was made available except an old extension cord that blew up in my face when I used it. We needed a hotel for an overnight due to a connecting flight. We looked for a moderately priced hotel that would be quiet. Although we were pleased with the price and the atmosphere, the distance from the airport meant $25 was tacked on to our cost. There were other tourists that had trouble with electrical adapters so come prepared with round pronged adapters that will themselves fit into 1 1/2 inch recessed holes in the wall. It takes 1/2 hour drive from the airport and it is a 10 min walk from the hotel to the beach where there are nice beach side restaurants.
Travel tip : You can save $5 by getting a taxi at the road that uses a meter or you can bargin. Bring adapters if you have a computer or a good book.

Breakfast was good, pool is nice. Didn't find the staff particularly friendly and would describe the rooms as mediocre at best. We stayed for 3 nights at the Mentari Sanur - we have 2 young children so it probably was not the best choice of place for us to stay. We had pre-ordered a cot for our baby, and although we understand that these are not guaranteed, the hotel only has one and we were out of luck. On arrival the attempts to help us with our luggage were zero and a smile from the staff may have been nice. Worth mentioning though is the cost of things on their menu - a beer is 70,000 Rupiah (7 US dollars, over £4) which is crazy. Needless to say nobody was eating and drinking there! Location is OK, down a back street. If you are looking for somewhere for a few nights then not a bad place, but if you have children then I would probably avoid it.

le restaurant de l'hôtel était bon je me suis fait traiter de voleuse... L'hôtel est joli côté piscine mais vieillsant côté jardin. Le dernier jour je me suis fait accusé d'avoir volé une serviette. Après bcp de discussions (car ils voulaient me la faire payer) je suis allée dans la chambre pour leur montrer qu'elle était toujours là. Comme par magie, ils l'ont retrouvé à ce moment là... Il n'y a eu aucun mot d'excuses.De plus ils m'ont proposés de m'appeler un taxi. le prix de ce taxi était au bas mot le triple de ce que j'ai trouvé dans la rue...

There is a deep swimming pool. The wall of the room is thin.I hear the voices of the neighboring room.
A taxi driver does not know a place. Near the Sanur Beach.The office of shuttle company is near, too.

Quite quiet, in a less busy area.
Clean and basic room.
Service is OK. Far away from Kuta, the central tourist area
things are relatively expensive near the area e.g. food, massage, etc. The stay is fine.
The hotel staff are friendly but quite hard sell in arranging you transport (which is very over priced!!)

Small and nice hotel with good kitchen My stay in the hotel was somewhat spoiled by renovation of the room beneath mine. So I had to listen sounds of the hammers throughout the day.
Otherwise hotel is good and quiet, kitchen is good and of course free wi-fi is good thing - I had finally a chance to publish some photos and talk to friends via Skype.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Boats to Lembongan island start from the beach near the hotel.

Very friendly staff, good rooms: comfortable bed, big TV and Aircon, the flowers and the trees are nice allthough the pool. The restaurant has a good choice of good Breakfast.It's not so busy. A two minute walk to the beach. The restaurant is very expensive and you have to pay 21% tax. The Mantari Sanur Hotel is located about 500m to the beach. Here at the beach is a spectacular ebb and flow. In the afternoon and especially in the middle of the day is the water very low (about 50cm). In the evening about 100cm. If you want to go snorkeling you have to swim more out, but trust me its worth it. The sea is very clean and clear with a lot of fish. You can do a lot of other water sport at Sanur Beach either. At the beachfront are many good restaurants and bars where you can eat and drink. The biggest difference to Kuta is that sanur is not so busy or overcrowded. It's the perfect location for relaxed holidays.
Restaurant Tip : The Amanda Beach Restaurant (direct at the beach with a good view, especially in the evening): The food was always excellent and the price was fair. Two salads, two main meals and two drinks= 100000RP. The Sunrise (Reggae Bar) has a large variety of good food.
