this hotel ended up being our favourite but we stayed here the least amount of time. Situated on the bypass, it meant we were able to skip a lot of traffic when visiting the attractions.

New hotel, clean and great food, but out-of-way.

After a long flight, Mercure Bali Harvestland Kuta was nice to get to. Very close to the airport (don't pay the airport taxi booth's 80,000 - a short walk out of the busy airport area and with a nice tip should be about 40,000 max) and extremely clean. The welcome drink and courteous staff were exactly what was needed. Our room wasn't large but it was new and had great A.C.. The shower was a bit odd in that the water on the basin easily reached the lip quickly. This lead to an easily soaked bathroom floor if you weren't careful about movements. That and no fan in the bathroom meant a bit of a sauna. But, overall, the breakfast with top-notch food, staff, a pretty good price, and learning that a metered cab - easily caught by walking down the short driveway - instead of the hotel's 80,000 standard fare saved a bunch of money meant a great stay here if you have to be in Kuta for a couple days. Explore the rest of the island though!

nice hotel with small pool for children. located at by pass ngurah rai, near mall bali galeria so we can get there easily. but we will get traffic jam on the evening when we were going to the mall or beaches. the room is enough for our little family, it's clean and comfortable. the services were great. only for my kids, they didn't get big enough to play on the pool. we didn't get the breakfast so we didn't know about the food they served. you have to rent a car to get places from the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
if you hard to find a place to get lunch or dinner, you can go to Mall Bali Galeria. its the nearest mall to go, though you have turn around to reach it with your car or taxi.

Nice Room but Not Good Location

Overall, this hotel is good for sleep.
Room & amenity are at good grade.
Breakfast meal is good.
Location of this hotel, near airport just 10minute but in the area that not full of attraction for holiday like kuta beach area. This area rather for office area.
Luckyly, just 2 building away there is a 7eleven store.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't choose this hotel if you want to go for holiday.

mercure harvest hotel is one very standard international hotel with good service,big room.but there are two mercure hotels in kuta. harvest hotel is quiet far from kuta centre and beach.And the price of the room not including breakfast,that is annoying.Breakfast there is quiet expensive.
