- Nice swimming pool. - Rooms are too small, the beds are small too.
We were staying in Mercure Hotel from 7/11 to 10/11 for 3 nights. As our flight arrived only at 9pm and reached the hotel at 10pm, we were told the hotel is fully booked on that day and we were given a room without oceon view (that's a dissapointment for us upon arriving). The hotel is convienient as McDonalds, Pizzahut, 24 hours kiosk are all within 5 minutes walking distance. Many good restarants are located along the street too. The hotel room are really too small for a 4 star rated hotel, and the single bed are also very small. We enjoyed the spa package which we only paid RP484,000 for an 2 hour spa package including body scrub, flower bath and aroma massage.
Travel tip : The balinese food serve at Warong Made (about 1km from the hotel) is worth trying.

Small room
Bar & restaurant prices overpriced Very friendly staff & the rooms are very clean, but too small for the price. Roof top pool has a fantastic view, but the bar prices are expensive. The on site massage facility is great, but again over priced compared to what you can get in kuta. For the price I would have assumed breakfast would be included, but it wasn't.

perfect location, beautiful pool overlooking Kuta beach, lotsa of restaurants n shopping. it was our first time in bali and choosing this hotel has really helped. location was great, food choices were aplenty and Legian Street is just behind it via Poppies Lane. its not cheap for e room standard & without breakfast but stil i think e money is well worth it. also it wasnt tat noisy at night.
Hotel Feature Tip : recommend to upgrade to e 2nd floor room where u can enjoy relaxing at the balcony.

1) Superb Kuta sea view enjoying from the swimming pool or tower top.
2) Hotel is just next to Hard Rock hotel/cafe and easy access to beach or Legian street for nightlife activity.
3) Room with small balcony facing Hard Rock hotel and safety box is provided in the room. 1) WiFi internet service is not free.
2) No airport transfer service is provided. It's chargeable (RP90,000) if compare you get taxi on your own (RP40,000). This could be one of the best four stars hotel located along Kuta beach because of its central location is so convenient to other places for beach activities, food/drinks, shopping, spa massage and nightlife. The hotel environment is nice and comfortable especially on the hotel tower top whereas you can sit back, relax and unwind while having a great sea view watching in day or night. A great place to stay and relax for travelers just like to hang around Kuta/Legian area only.
Shopping Tip : Few minutes walking distances to shopping malls (Matahari/Kartika), banks and food/drinks.

The view from the pool is amazing and the service from staff was great. The room was comfortable and would stay there again. The hotel was situated in a great place. Easy walking distance to both the poppies lanes and Kuta square. The pool while it is not that big was perfect for tanning and relaxing. The pool service was great even when the pool bar was not open they would still serve drinks. There are loads of nice restaurants all around and the food there was also nice. Great value for money and was definitely four stars. I would stay there again.
Shopping Tip : Lots of cheap massages around the corner from the hotel

Very convenient, less than 1 min walk to the beach. Friendly and helpful hotel staffs. Clean room. Great pool view. Cheap spa package. Will definitely be back on my next trip.
Restaurant Tip : Papa's cafe on Jalan Pantai, which is less than 15min walk away.

Convenient place to stay at Kuta.We really like the top pool where we can see the sea. so far,good for me.If the price includes a breakfast that would be great. We had a very good time at Kuta beach.It is convenient place,walk to the area around is not so hard to get to.It could be like for a local for a while,esp.it only needs 3 minutes to walk to the beach.So nice.I really like the top pool on the fourth floor.
Nightlife Tip : If some light music in the lobby,that would be great

We booked a room on the last night of our month long trip in Indonesia. We wanted our last night to be at a fancy place, however, most of the hotels in Kuta were full due to a holiday. Room is clean, smells good, aircon is cold, curtains are thick and dark which makes maintains the darkness of the room in the morning. Location is great -- beach front! Room is quite small, bathroom is a little cramped. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Given its perfect location which is the beach front and near the restaurants and stalls, everything we need was accessible! We were able to hang out till the wee hours of the morning! They even have the odyssey surfing school just in-front of the lobby which we joined as well (its a very wonderful experience especially the pictures that were taken!) The room is quite small, but its very clean, cold and doesn't have the stinky smell of cigarettes. I was able to sleep more than 8 hours and didn't even realize that its already morning because the curtains are thick which blocks the sunlight from coming in!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try Odyssey Learn to surf (in-front of the hotels lobby)! Its a wonderful experience! Its my first time to surf and I was really able to stand on the surfing board! The oakley shirt and the pictures were great!!!! i love it!

Location very convenience, nice room with balcony, nice pool, even better then Hark Rock!! Hotel location are very convenience, beach just 20secs away. Security are strict, therefore rest assure.
Room service are great, thou we called many times for towels!
Rooms are rather small, but it's enough for 3 persons,the very plus point will be the swimming pool, enjoy a very romantic sunset!!!!
Shopping Tip : Near to shopping districts!!!

the pool was gorgeous!! the pool area was also very nice and perfect place to just relax without being bothered! best place to watch the sun set!!!! drinks from the pool area were quite expensive - especially for drinks other than Bintang. the view from our room was not very nice although it would not be the same for all the hotel rooms on the other side of the establishment. The Mercure Kuta Bali was a very nice hotel to stay in. We felt very secure and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool was just magnificent and we spent many afternoons on the balcony to watch the sunset. If you don't mind spending the money, the food was also fantastic - breakfast was great value if you're a big eater. We stayed in two hotels in Kuta, and we truly thought the extra money to stay at the Mercure was well worth it!
Restaurant Tip : The Beach Club was only a 2 minute walk (located next to McDonalds but above a massage/beauty shop). For very reasonable cocktails, great indonesian food at cheap prices and entertainment!!!
