Lovely open clean hotel, with nice gardens

This is a delightful hotel, open, clean, with well-kept gardens and with easy access to a nice, clean beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a King Room, which was spacious with a large bed. There are two nice pools; during our stay one seemed to be used mainly by adults and one mainly by children. The rooms are in small blocks end-on to the beach, they do not all face the beach.
One disadvantage, which applies to many hotels in Sanur, is that the hotel is right under the flight path of planes departing from Denpasar airport. This is particularly noticeable late at night and early in the morning.
Restaurant Tip:
The food at the hotel was a little expensive for us, so we ate mainly at the good and less expensive bars and restaurants which can be found near the hotel if you exit the front gates and turn right. We particularly liked an Irish bar / restaurant called “The Cat and Fiddle”.

Family friendly, although a little tired

We all enjoyed our stay at Mecure Sanur the staff were very friendly and the hotel is well positioned and as a great beach location. The boys loved paying chess on the beach. The main pool is huge and well maintained. The overall presentation of the hotel is tired and the property is in need of a refresh. The food t the restaurant was over priced and disappointing but here are lots of local places nearby to eat at.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Right next to the Ripcurl Surf school. Learn to surf while you are there.

A good basic hotel with quiet location.
Staff were responsive to our requests.

The hotel was fine without being exceptional. The beach was a bit disappointing as at low tide there was a long walk to water.

Great Spa awful Hotel, smelly and noisy
It's beside the beach and the spa is beautiful and professional.

Awful, the room stunk of damp, we got woken up by the people next door, the staff did resolve the issue but i would never stay here again, there was also an issue with our card where they charged the security deposit and didn't refund it, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, we were lucky we only stayed for one night.

Nice, simple hotel
The room has a lot of space

Several rooms are put together in a bungaloos, and each room has its own balcony, which is nice. Very worth the price.

Quiet and beautiful hotel

Good and relaxing stay. Everything was okay and exciting. It was just quite dark when walking around the hotel because the pedestrian light is too low and far between others. In general the value is quite superb for couples or family to stay and play in the quiet and calm beachfront hotel.

hotel is in a quiet location and appears to be going through an upgrade. our room was clean and tidy but what i would call tired. fridge was faulty and needed to be replaced.
we stayed just over 3 weeks and each week recieved a free fruit basket and flower arrangement. also was given complementry massages at their spa.free shuttel to supermarket very convenient.

Basic room and we were upgraded. It had everything we needed. Right in the beach, lovely staff and the beach was very relaxing, plenty of beds. We participated in the activities at the hotel - aqua aerobic, just want we needed after a run by the beach. It the best place to relax, you can kite surf quite cheaply as there is a good wind. Lots of little local restaurants serving food from many countries.
Hotel Feature Tip:
We did aqua aerobic, had a massage on the beach, ate at a cheap restaurant close to the hotel. Just the perfect place to relax and unwind. It is a long ride from the airport but just sit back and relax. Staff very helpful. I would stay there again. A yoga retreat right next door.
