Beautiful town, great room loud chickens and dogs

loved the area and our hotel room was really beautiful with great views. you could hear praying from the people in the valley below, which was pretty neat. staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. my only issue was out of the hotel's control: around the clock barking and roosters clucking all night. it didn't bother my wife so much but i couldn't sleep well at all, as a result.
the other thing i thought they said they had was wifi and tv. neither were in the rooms or available. we didn't miss the tv but wifi is always nice to have.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Check out the waterfall up the road from the hotel.

Far from town, no transport.

the hotel is just ok. the room was very nice, except for the wash basin, which was located in the room instead of the bathroom (quite strange). nice view from the balcony on tha valley. vewry far from town - the distrance from the hotel to the town was not 5 minutes walk (as we were assured in the reception), but at least 30 minutes along a crowded and busy road. no laternative transport. no taxis. the hotel did not offer any transport. luckily, we found a fantastic restaurant in town and its owner gave us a ride back to the hotel. otherwise we would have to walk almost an hour back up with a kid. breakfast only basic. anyway, all munduk was quite a dissapointment for us. we expected a cosy little town - in fact it was quite busy, noisy and not interesting at all.

Would stay here again as the room was very clean, the view from all rooms is amazing and the food and staff are very nice.The price is reasonible and I think is the best accomadtion for the area. The waterfalls are a must to see.
