Fabulous quiet location. Great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of Kuta area, even central Ubud.

Lovely large rooms and bathrooms. Well appointed.
Lovely helpful staff
Fun gondola for those not willing/fit enough to take the many stairs. On the other hand there are 600 stairs from the river to the top reception for those wanting challenging exercise! Hard to find - not signed well on roads (make sure you get good directions before setting off)
Limited menu, but lovely food all the same
Long way from any night life (15 minutes to Ubud) for those wanting it. After a few days in Kuta, this was a welcome few days 'chill out' time in the jungle and it really is in the middle of the jungle, away from the motor bikes and honking horn etc. Just a fabulous forrest soundtrack to lull you to sleep. Highly recommended to honeymooners or those need rest and respite.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you want to explore the area some more, ask the staff to organise the eco tour bike tour. It's very good value and you get to really see the real bali. Most of it is down hill so you don't have to be really fit.
Also walk down to the river at bottom, but beware, very steep steps.

the bed is too hard.and the food dont have much variation. been stay at this resort for 4 nighs, this hotel is a great place to escape from the busy city. a very relaxing yet very quite place to stay. the view is just awesome. room design are so natural, the bathroom is big. somehow the location are bit too far away for the shopping and attraction spot. the food are just so so.. a bit boring.

Great value for money as The Hanging Gardens Resort and spa next to it is more than double the price and they are both under one ownership; however hanging gardens have better food and service, but the view is the same....
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You need to go on Rafting 1/2 day trip. You must visit the Monkey Forest and the Elephant safari park. Visit lake Batur/Volacano mountain ...

Idyllic, intimate, the villa, services. We visited nanidini in September 2007 for one night. A real dream of villas nestled along the slope that descends to the river Ayung, the emerald pool with bird's eye view of the jungle, a spa to damn ... Everything was perfect, except the presence of a small scorpion found by chance in the shoes before you put ... Finally, when one chooses to rub in the Balinese jungle, we know what we risk.
Travel tip : Massages to try to absolutely Nandini.
