stayed for five days, was able to do find transport including taxis at a minutes notice. good area for all types of shopping. good choice of restaurants, and clothes/shoes stores.
within a couple of hundred metres from hotel found an english speaking pharmacist.
close to beach.
Travel tip:
Hotel has transportation at their door step. Room Service excellent.

what i like about this hotel is it's location. it's just walking distance to kuta beach where a lot of restaurants and shops are located. the staff are friendly and helpful too especially when i needed help on one tour that got canceled at the last minute. the beds are comfortable and i'm relieved that they're white sheets (not the floral/printed ones). breakfast is not stellar but the omelet (you have to ask for this as you won't immediately know they're offering it) made up for it. i only had a problem with the bathroom. it looks super old and dirty...

i was the first time live at nathan hotel,i thought the location was exactly on the kartika plaza but i was wrong..honestly, i'm quite disappointed for location..everytime when i want to walk around on kuta or legian,i had to walk quite far especially to legian..
but over all for room and service are ok..
Shopping Tip:
Nathan hotel's location is so close with discovery mall..just walk about 10 minutes

Very pleasant Hotel, and all the staff provide service with a smile, but the lack of English speakers made it difficult to get it. Poor and limited WiFi connection. Bath room below par.

Best ever budget hotel I found in Kuta
Pool side room, small refrigerator, nice clean rooms.

I found the hotel location just in the heart of Kuta and in steps away from Bali's famous mall- "Discovery". Little bit off the main road but that's make us convenient to get away from different pubs and club's stereo sounds.I say its very good even features wise.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just minutes away from night life and kuta beach....

Awful hotel
The building itself was beautifully designed in stone around central pool. So much potential

The reality of staying here was dreadful. Some of the main grievances we had were:
- our room was dirty, with mould on the walls and unclean sheets.
- the toilet was broken, and smelled bad
- the shower was poor
- one of the staff at the front desk aggressively tried to push their own "tours" on us, even to the point of
telling me to cancel a tour that I was waiting to be collected for!
- some friends of the staff were using the hotel pool in the central courtyard until at least 2am, shouting in loud voices to each other, we could barely sleep. We awoke to find the pool area strewn with beer bottles and fag ends. On our second night it happened again.
It is a shame that the hotel was in such poor condition, because the building was gorgeous and very well designed. It shows a lack of care on part of whoever is managing it. We got our room very cheap, but we expected much much more, given the generally high standard of budget hotels in Bali. Perhaps the one saving grace is it's proximity to town

The room I got located at 2nd floor. this hotel don't have elevator. Room a bit smelly. Very noisy air conditioner.
