immaculate landscaping, friendly staff, good food, very large, many pools, good views
Far away from everything so you have to eat at their OVERPRICED hotel
This is a mega- resort. Its huge. Also, I had to ask to change rooms because our air conditioner was broken and the room smelled like mould, but then I got into a Club room and it was beautiful. Breakfast on the resort was $16 USD no matter where you ate, and a taxi was just out of the question. Also, whatever you do, don't get trapped in going to Bali Collection or Jimbaran Beach for a seafood dinner. Prices are way over the top, these are tourist traps, unless you are in to that sort of thing. I did both and didn't see one non-white person the whole time, it was bizzare.
Restaurant Tip : The Japanese restaraunt is amazing

Cleanliness, modern, wonderful beach, great Japanese restaurant
Buffet and other food was expensive, limited in places to eat
This resort in Nusa Dua is enclosed in a compound where the beaches are beautiful but waves were strong. Pool area was wonderful and accommodated family or couples- even a slide for those young at heart. Nikko has a wonderful view point at the top floor. Room was clean and accommodated all three of us though there was an extra charge of $60 per night. Food was good but expensive. You are limited in places to eat since it is a compound of fancy resorts and fancy resorts come with that price. For the price offering at Agoda, the hotel room was a good deal. Otherwise, would not likely stay their on my own. An enjoyable stay in pretty Nusa Dua that I would recommend for Agoda's price.

Big beds, amazing views, clear water beach, lots of children attractions.
Breakfast was surprisingly dissapointed for a hotel of this class, I've had much better selection and quality in other hotels with lower room rate. Room service was very pricey and again the quality was below standard.
Have heard all good things about this hotel and we've been wanting to try this hotel for ages but given the price which is above most other 5 star hotels in Nusa Dua, had been reluctant to try it till recently. All in all, in terms of facilities, we were quite satisfied. It's really the type of resort where you don't want to go out and just want to relax and stay within the hotel. The area is much bigger than we thought so although the room was fully occupied, it still managed to provide sense of peace and serenity. The only drawback was the food which is much below our expectations for a hotel of this price, we've had much better at other Nusa Dua hotels with room rates nearly half the price.

Amazing views, huge hotel area, many kids facilities
not recommended for old people as hotel is hilly and access to facilities is pretty far if you don't stay in the main building. Quality of food needs to be improved.
Excellent facilities, would definitely stay here again if price was not that expensive. Was difficult to find good restaurants nearby meanwhile the in room dining was very very pricey and quality was below standard for such price. Room was spacious and beds are big (ask for double beds which is 2X120cm instead of king size which is only 180cm). Overall loved this hotel but price is structured for expats.

Landscaping, architecture and layout of the hotel is fantastic, especially if you're located on the ocen view tower. Views are great from there. Hotel is huge, had 3 or 4 restaurants and pool area is really nice. There are 2 shuttlebuses going to tourist traps - duty-free DFS shop and some other entertainment place.
Did not go to the signature hotel (japanese) but the lunch we had at the poolside restaurant (Shore) was only so-so, expected better for the price. Breakfast was not good at all, again was disappointed. The hotel is very nice but food def needs improvement, perhaps the japanese restaurant would have been good (but was quite pricey). Location was perhaps a bit too remote. Without taking a cab or the shuttle bus, you are stuck at the hotel. It is far out at Nusa Dua and its not possible to just take a stroll into the village, so you have to entertain yourself at the hotel. Taking a cab out to Kuta takes 1 hr each way (coz of jams) and not cheap either.
We had the unfortunate pleasure of aircon breaking down after coming back from drinks at around midnight. Technician arrived saying blower needs to be changed, so we had to move rooms at midnight. We were tired so it wasnt exactly pleasant. However got upgraded to executive suites, and breakfast the next day was comped, so cant complain too much, was just bad luck I guess. I suspect the superior rooms had really old aircons, coz in executive suite the system was different -Honeywell or smthg one would have heard of. Superior room one didnt even have english symbols on the control panel. Good luck if you dont read japanese. Overall, I would say that the hotel environment really nice, but room equipment could be a bit old, and not sure if the stay was worth the $ we spent there.

Great location, very well maintained and grounds, facilities, and rooms, probably the best beach in Nusa Dua
The hotel restaurants are on the expensive side and I would enjoy more of local INdonesian dishes
The resort is sitting on a cliff and has great views of the ocean. The beach is probably one of the best beaches in Nusa Dua. The hotel grounds, facilities, and rooms are very well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.

the beach the swimming pool and the scenary is very nice
Food are way too expensive!
The room is very big and comfortable. The hotel facilities are very nice. I like the colors of the view from here. The sky is dark blue, the ocean have different shade of colors, dark blue, blue, and green. The beach is also nice best for sunbathing but the sand is quite rough. Not a good place to swim in the sea though. The restaurant by the beach is very nice but quite expensive for the taste of the food.
Travel tip : The hotel is isolate but is convenient enough to get around. Can easily get taxi from the hotel out.

First rate facilities
Lush grounds/gardens
Great pools
Excellent Beach
Beautiful club
Value
Family activities
Remote location
Large complex (if you are looking for intimate)
The Nikko Bali Resort & Spa is my choice for stays in Nusa Dua, Bali. This is a large and extensive resort hotel and spa facility located on a nice section of Nusa Dua beach. The open and expansive lobby looks out on a series of decorative pools that appear to empty into the ocean beyond (actually, what you can’t see from this perspective is the 15 storey cliff!). The hotel itself occupies several front buildings on top of a cliff, overlooking the gardens and ocean, and then a 15 story tower whose first floor is at the bottom of the cliff. Only the top of the tower is visible from lobby level, and you actually must cross a sky bride to the tower’s 15th floor lobby to go to a tower guest room or the pool, beach, club and spa facilities -- this is quite unique as the North side of the tower, which serves as an open hallway for the guest floors, faces the cliff. The elevators are located in the center of the tower and you enter them on each floor in an open air area with great views of the water from every floor.
I stayed in a Club Suite which was superb. A glass wall seperated the living room from the bedroom, and a flat screen TV sat in the middle of the wall, and can be rotated for viewing in either of the two rooms. The space is large and is connected by a terrace looking down on the beautiful pool facilities and the beach. The bathroom is large with both a tub and shower, toilet and bidet. The room also includes a guest 1/2 bathroom and a dining room table. There is also a full minibar and Internet access (you must pay for it, and this is one thing I don’t like – just include it in my rate!).
In terms of amenities, you really never need to leave the hotel if it’s water and relaxation that you’re looking for. The pool facilities are superb, including an artificial beach, water volleyball and basketball areas, hot tubs, lap areas, in-water bars, and a water slide. The beach is secluded and clean, the water a beautiful aqua-marine.
Hotel Feature Tip : Spend a few extra dollars and take advantage of the ultra-luxurious club experience

Beautiful Pools
Beautiful Hotel
too far from the city
expensive food
After the 2nights in the other hotel in Sanur area, this one is just too remote. BUT this one is just toooo beautiful. The design of the hotel is so good, i spend lots of time to walk around to take photos.
My deluxe Ocean View room is big, clean, comfort. But half of the ocean was blocked by the cliff tower infront of our building....
Next time i will save more money to try the cliff tower...
I don't know, next time i may not driving by myself if i choose this hotel again, it is just too far for me to get back the hotel.

Quietness
Big Area
Very good view, with is above a cliff
Must spend lots of time in the pools area, they are so great, one is man made sand beach!!!
Better buy some breakfast for the next morning if you didn't get the "with breakfast" package. It is kind of expensive.
We took almost 2hours to drive back from Tanah Lot.
My sea view room is just blocked 80% by the coner from the building while my friend's one was blocked 50% by the cliff tower....

Beautiful property, attentive staff, very comfortable room
Selection of food choices limited.
Bar permits smoking.
We loved our stay here. The property is beautiful. The pools are very nice and the beachfront is some of the best Bali has to offer. Perfect for couples or families. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was alright. Choose 'breakfast included' rates if possible, otherwise buffet charge is too steep. The bar/pool menu is unimaginative. Dinner at the beachfront restaurant is excellent, or choose to have an evening drink on the sofas watching the sunset. We were very satisfied with our stay - definitely one of the better hotels we've stayed and excellently price.
Restaurant Tip : The Bali Collection is nearby and has any number of restaurants that are good and not crowded. You can take the hotel shuttle to and from.

Very secluded with a private beach, Very large hotel and friendly staff.
Really far from Kuta and other hotels in Nusa Dua.
Nikko Bai Resort and Spa is located in the Nusa Dua area but it is really really secluded from the other resorts in the area. Basically once you are there, it is very quiet and peaceful and is good if you are looking for that.
Bad points would be that you need to take a 30 mins taxi ride to Kuta beach which costs about RP 100K one way. Next thing you need to take note of is that the room rates do not include breakfast so u will need to buy some food on your way back from your day tours if you booked any. Otherwise, breakfast at the hotel is pretty expensive.
Shopping Tip : You can take the free shuttle service to Bali Collections but the things sold there are expensive. From Bali Collections, it is easier to take a taxi to the Kuta beach area where you will have more choices and also food is much cheaper there.

Excellent position on the slope of the shore, beautiful sight at the ocean. \nA lot of green trees creating pleasant shadow.\nVery nice pools with water flowers at the main entrance.
Swimmimg in the ocean is quite unpleasant because of the dirt swimmimg regularly to the sand beach. The beach seem to work as a collector of the mud.
At the arrival the hotel made a very positive impression. First, the entrance gate. Then the road leading from the gate to the main entrance. The personnel at the entrance opening the door of the car, helping to pick up the baggage. \n\nAs we ordered a room for 3 persons (1 child) the room was already equipped namely for 3 persons, in contrast to many other hotels, as we were awaiting for the third bed and the third set of towels et c.\n\nThe service taking care of the children supplied us (me and my wife) a possibility to travel to the neighbour Java. Our son disliked the idea to leave the island and liked spending time at the children facilities. \n
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ocean trip to see jumping dolphins (early in the morning)\nMonkey forest\nBird park

I think we made our trip superb because of the hotel also. Even though we booked our hotel through intenet we were very pleased that we got a chance to stay in abeautiful hotel. We have no complaints about anything and looking forward to visit Bali again and staying at the same hotel.
