Stunningly beautiful location. Pleasant staff. Beautiful cabins, well appointed. Snorkel trips to nearby island were fabulous.

No view of the water from the deck. Loved the mangroves--birds and flowers up close--but wished the deck was a little higher so we could see the water, too.

The setting of Gowana Novus is stunning. The pool and restaurant are surrounded by colorful flowers and appear to blend right into the seascape beyond. I loved floating in the pool with flower petals drifting by and swallows dipping down for drinks. We went snorkeling in the marine preserve, which was just 30 minutes or so by boat. Marvelous coral gardens and walls. Staff were very helpful and the food was good and they even had good wine. Definitely want to go back!
