Large rooms, privacy, views.
Might be inconvenient for some. Rates should include breakfast, like most establishments in the area.
The valley below might be more coconut trees than manicured rice terraces nowadays, but the views are still great and there is not a bemo in sight. Sayan is a rural "suburb" of Ubud that offers peace and quiet away from the usual tourist haunts. Taman Bebek's rooms are spacious and clean, the open-to-the-outdoors bathrooms are refreshing, and the breakfasts filling and tasty. This is a great home base for exploring nearby villages on foot and lets one get in and our of downtown Ubud for a few dollars taxi ride. Pick Sayan if you don't want to be surprised by the volume of traffic in town.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try walking into town through the now rather developed former rice paddies.
