Large room with very comfortable bed. The hotel has many activieties to do and staff was very helpful. Room rate is high compare to other local standard. The staff was very handy and hepful for assisting us since before our arrival. They helped to arrange transfer service with English speaking to escort us. The hotel facility is new and comfortable. The beach is gorgeous and easy to go around to the famous attractions near by. Highly recommended.

Returning from Ubud we stayed again at the hotel and were given a different room. No big deal except that whoever had designed the bathroom had obviously never actually used a shower in their life......nor realised that water doesn't just fall down.
The shower was directly in front of the door to the main bedroom area and no matter what you did, NOTHING would stop the water from the shower going into the bedroom area.
The hotel was full, so we were unable to move.
That said, its still a great hotel in a great location with some terrific staff.
Hotel Feature Tip : Just stay here.....its a great place.

Helpful Staff.
Top dining too !!! Having been familiar with the Hotel from its construction, it was a pleasure being able to stay a few days.
One issue for those with families: the pool area does not have a shallow end and if you are with children you will need to use the jacuzzi pool area.
Breakfasts are good as well as the in house dining.
Staff are so very helpful.
Just a great place to stay !
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Do any laundry at street vendors. You'll save a fortune (small).

The apartments were very clean and worked wel for a family
The staff were fantastic
fantastic location - around the pool the decking was extremely hot We were very pleasantly surprised with the Outrigger. Initially we weren't sure about staying as it was not very traditional, with all the gardens etc., but they have done a wonderful job of making the hotel very serene with all the lovely garden areas and the aquariums etc. the apartment was fantastic, especially for a family travelling, plenty of room, and the staff were just lovely. We would recommend this hotel as it was in a great location and had great facilities.
Our only criticism would have been the nightclub noise from underneath the hotel at street level, but this wasnt too bad most nights.
Restaurant Tip : The Zanzibar was fantastic, great pizzas

Contemporary hotel/ room design, nice garden with bonsai. Good restaurants nearby. Big room. Small bathroom, water easily overflown to bedroom. A bit far from Legian town. Very normal breakfast. We booked the 1 bedroom suite and upon checked in they offered us studio room without my notice. The room was at ground floor without balcony, and the room has no privacy. Anyone walked by could see though our room if the thick blinds were not pulled down. We made the complaint any they offered me the 1st floor suite with outdoor jacuzzi! It has private corridor leading to the room, and we like it very much.
We got discounted price from Agoda, Good deal.
Hotel Feature Tip : Go for room 221, it has private outdoor jacuzzi (which is not available in all rooms). However I'm not sure room 221 is a studio or 1 bedroom suite though.

Great location. Good choice of restaurants around. Great beach over road. Supply beach towels. Lots of glass make rooms hot. Ensure keep air conditioner on and blinds down. Hotel not traditional Balinesse style. Clean and white lots of glass and not very personal. Staff keep gardens tidy and neat with others working to keep place clean. Had suite with own spa, nice decor, tv had poor reception at times. Hotel sitauted behind a night club and in our first room/night the beat/bass of band kept us awake until after 4.00am in the morning. We moved rooms next day and lost a day's holiday because we were tired and grumpy. apparentley Hotel have had alot complaints re the music going to early hours of morning. Hotel staff weren't overly concerned or apolgetic.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't stay in suite 201 as right next door to a night club. Suppose to close at 12 midnight week days but kept going until after 4.00am. Had to relocate rooms toget away from bass noise

rooms are furnished very well and are very clean. Sheets are changed daily and complimentary bottled water each day.Good location will definately stay again

We recently stayed at the O c an Resort, It was great. I have been travelling to bali once or twice a year for business over the past 6 years. I found the hotel clean, staff good, resturants good food & the hotel is close to most popular spots. I loved the beach right accross the road & you can watch the great sunsets everyday from the first floor bar

Clean, modern and comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to all travellers looking for a modern, clean place to stay and enjoy. Although the O-CE-N Outrigger is not a traditional hotel it makes for a nice break away from the busy streets of Bali. The rooms on the higher levels are better, offering more privacy.

Location was excellent, very stylish and luxurious resort, great bar for sunsets and happy hour Great resort, but service was slow and could not get any orders for room service and drinks right and in general had not use Agoda would have been totally out of my budget as the resort is overpriced The resort is probably one of the best in Bali, very comfortable, great fixtures and design, modern art-deco. There is no better location in my opinion than Seminyak and the resort sit's right on the beach front next door to some great but cheap resturants, with boutiques and shops just a 10m walk. The resort is very secure and has plenty of security check's and guards at all times. If the resort was cheaper I would definetly return and stay longer, just a bit expensive I felt for the accommadation.

Some people may find decor cold We really liked staying here. It's in a great location, just across the beach front street from Legian Beach. I thought the room was a nice change from the typical Bali decor, although my wife found it cold and sterile. Our room (whcih was spotless) had enormous glass windows on 3 sides, so we had great light, but no privacy unless we lowered the blinds. The staff were nice and helpful. The pool was a little wierd (narrow and long), but we went for the beach anyway. The restaurant overlooking the beach has great views. the breakfast buffet was nothing special- I would expect a bit more. Overall, I would stay here again if coming back to Legian.
Restaurant Tip : Little warungs in the neighborhood offer much cheaper and good food than expensive restaurants serving western food

Great location, good restaurant busy street, across the beach, bathroom design We have stayed three night in O-CE-N Bali this July 2009. From airport to hotel with taxi was not too difficult but it should be easier if Hotel address is Jalan double six instead of Jalan Arjuna, Legian. Easy check in with very helpful front office staff with great guest relation lady showing your room. Our room is studio suite so bigger than normal with sitting area plus private Jacuzzi outside. One thing we do not like is the bathroom door is made of glass (frosted) and does not have any lock. Also shower does not have any curtain to glass door, so every time we have showered, entire bathroom become wet.

Position,rooms are nice and large.Fairly new. Quite enjoyed our stay until the last day when we were charged for a bottle of evian water which we did not drink.I explained we did not use it and the bottle was then brought to me to prove it.After staying 4 nights plus eating and drinking and paying quite a bit of money I was a bit insulted over a $5 water.

close to the beach, brand new, always cleaned and tidied, great service and very friendly staff, loved the bar/restaurant area, my husband and I both felt the Ocen Outrigger hotel in Legian was an excellent place to stay. The location was great and the rooms were new and clean. Service was great and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money would definitely come back and stay again and would recommend it to friends.
Nightlife Tip : Close to Ku Da Ta and short taxi drive to the many restaurants around Seminyak.
