Nice beachview hotel for the family

During the first night they put us in the 2-bedroom 1-bathroom unit and we didn't really like that. Anyone taking a shower would have the water flooding up the bathroom floor. The view from the room wasn't all that great either.
So the following night by request we were moved to the 2-bedroom 2-bathroom unit which was way better and facing the ocean.
The breakfast was good enough and we enjoyed spending a lot of time at the beach. Lovely sunset here!

Modern Hotel but Poor Bathroom

The Hotel is quite clean and modern design for the living room, bed room, and the kitchen, but the bathroom is very small with poor design and poor condition. The breakfast is not fine either.

Quite a disappointing stay

Overall, our stay was disappointing.
1. General appearance of building looked worn down even though the hotel is not that old.
2. Room floor felt dirty/greasy even though room was cleaned every morning.
3. Bathroom too small & FLOODS after every shower!
4. Air-conditioning was TERRIBLE - room was hardly cool!
5. Wi-fi service was erratic - signal kept dropping, then re-appearing.
6. Remote control to the room entertainment system was faulty.
7. Walkway and staircase along poolside were were slippery when constantly wet. Accidents waiting to happen!

We (me, wife, and 2 kids) booked a studio room, located on the Ground Floor. Our children is 9 and 5 yo, and no additional room charge for them
The room are spacious, modern, but a bit tiring for me seeing all the white furnitures.
My children spent every evening swimming on the beach, and enjoying the sunset at the same time. Too bad the beach were dirty, so many plastics trash. When they were done with the beach, they went straight to the hotel pools!
Recommended for family travelling with children.

Location was right on the beach, restaurants and other hotels all along the road. However there is no much shopping around, its all at the back street where you have to walk a bit. The room was clean but water dripped in during rainy days. Room was clean and buffet breakfast was good. I will recommend for family with young children to take the one bedrm apartment.

We stayed in the Outrigger for 3 nights. It was reasonably priced compared to other 2 bedroom apartments at that time of year. The apartments are perfectly adequately equipped. It is slightly odd in that the walls in the apartments are all glass, but we got used to that and just put the blinds down when we did not want to be on show! The pool is large and fun and you could not find a better location if you want to be in the centre of things. There is an excellent warung around the corner which lots of tourists eat at. The breakfast at the Outrigger was by far and away the best breakfast of anywhere we stayed in Bali and was included in the price. It was a buffet breakfast with a chef and you could eat any style of food
