Excellent staff Nice area clean motel and well maintained Pool good size

Food fairly standard Wouldnt ring for a taxi for us

As we came into the gate that leads into the Pelangi we were slightly worried, however as soon as we entered the building our concerns disappeared. The Pelangi is obviously one of the older motels in the area but very gracious. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was well maintained, air con and kept clean.I would recommend it for a stay away from the mad rat race in Kuta

The service and location of the hotel was excellent. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

On entering Pelangi Spa Resort, the staff were extremely welcoming with beaming smiles. Check in was hassle free and the vibe of the hotel was very relaxing. The room was spotless, with all amenities. I loved the view into the well kept tropical gardens. The pool at Pelangi was the highlight. It was not over-crowded, and had exceptional ocean views, especially during sunset. Pelangi is a place to stay that shouldn't be overlooked

Restaurant Tip : Pelangi is well located to the fantastic restraints in Seminyak.

Amazing pool area, right on the beach, easy walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants etc $3 10 minute taxi ride to Legian/Kuta, lovely staff

expensive restaurant/bar compared to local prices, expensive spa treatments

We absolutely loved the Pelangi Hotel. The rooms are clean and modernish, the pool and restaurant area is built overlooking the beach so makes for a lovely breakfast each morning, lots of sunbeds around the pool and overlooking the beach. We had a midnight flight and had to check out at midday. The Hotel supplied us with a complimentry room for an hour in the evening to freshen up before our flight. There was a small earthquake while we were here and the staff were quick to reassure us all of our safety. Great place for families and couples although may be too far from the Kuta night life for younger people. Very easy to get taxis from outside hotel to go to Legian and Kuta however the location is ideal for just strolling up the beach to a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Would definately stay here again

Nightlife Tip : Probably worth getting a taxi into Kuta to enjoy the nightlife there as there is a much more wider variety of pubs, clubs etc.

It is right on the beach, but you wouldn't want to go swimming in there.

The hotel is old and run down, more than i thought, the staff were rude and wouldn't help with concerns, they tried to charge me all these extra charges from when they did my washing!! there is no safe in the room you have to go to the lobby and use their safe depoist box, You can not get a taxi or organise one to pick you up from the hotel you have to walk down the street to get one, THE BREAKFAST .... was so bad old left overs with old bread!! we had to ask for our sheets to be changed and the peristted in saying that they already had but there was my make-up on the sheets that i knew i had put on there, room service was so bad my food was cold my sandwich one day had brown lettuce yuk!! ... i could go on and on!!

We stayed for 10 nights and it really was upsetting to have stayed here i was so disapointed with the staff and the lack of knowedge they had toward what ever we asked, i can't express how many other beautiful hotels there are that many not be a four star like this one but ten times better and only a 3star!!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We went on the most amazing horse trekk it is a must for everyone even if you can't ride. It's own by this beautiful Australian girl and her horses are beautiful, schooled and not your normal trekk horse that when you ride them it's like follow the leader!! the whole experience is unreal!! 'Island Horse', Yeh Gangga Beach - Bali, you can find her on Facebook. Its $56 for 2hours of pure bliss on the beach through a village and they pick you up and drop you back to your hotel. So work it!!

Pool, friendly staff. The view from our balcony was amazing!

Not enough pool lounges with umbrellas/shade. All lounges should have shade available. The room's bathroom looked a little old and tired. Towels were clean but stained and old.

Staying at The Pelangi was a very pleasant experience. The staff were particularly friendly and attentive, always saying hello and wanting to help. The pool area is beautiful. The surrounding trees and garden area add to it's beauty. Howver I felt whilst there was enough pool lounges we could not find any with shade. The buffet breakfast was good but not great. The tour/info desk in reception was pretty hopeless though. Their English wasn't very good and would not book certain things for us. Our bedroom was fine. The balcony's view excellent!! However it and the bathroom look like they need a spruce up. Security was excellent.

- Not noisy during the night as it is far from the central attraction - Near to the beach

- The hotel room not clean. - The water sink is spoil. We will need to remove the cover in order for the water to go down. - They initially giving us the room with the spoil aircon (aircon leak) fortunately they manage to switch the room

When we first arrived at the hotel, they gave us the room with the leak air con . the water was spill everywhere in the floor. Fortunately we manage to get the room replacement. The first impression of the room was not too clean, we can feel the dust was everywhere in the floor as we walk through the room. Also the towel that they provided not too clean either. We saw some black spot and red spot on it. During the second day i thought that they will replace the towel with the clean one, but we found out that the new towel is also not clean. We can still see some black and red spot (like blood) in the towel. The hand wash sink was spoil. It is very difficult for the water to go down. The hotel staff is not initiative. During second day breakfast at the restaurant, they didnt serve us tea or coffe. In the end we ourself need to bring our glass to the buffet table and pour tea ourself. The good thing from this hotel is that it is not too noisy during night, also the location is not too bad, as it is near to the beach (Seminyak beach) and also there are quite a number of restaurant outside. around 100-200m.

Comfortable beds, friendly staff, beautiful outlook to the ocean when having breakfast, lovely pool (clean) and surrounds.

None

We arrived at Pelangi very late (2.30am) because of a flight delay and were greated by friendly staff at that late hour. Our breakfasts were superb with as much food as you would want and a great variety of different choices. The outlook to the ocean made for a very pleasant start to the day. Staff were always willing to assist with any queries. The pool bar had excellent service. The beds were most comfortable and very welcome after a busy day shopping or just lazing about. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Seminyak. Our ages ranged from 10 years to 70 years and all were catered for.

Great location

None

Very nice location, very quiet and right on the beach. Have renovated since last visit. Pool is great - great restaurants nearby and very good boutique shopping walking distance. Staff were very helpful and friendly and room service was very very cheap and good. Breakfast was average but still good. The pool can get crowded but the chairs for hire on the beach were really great and people dont hassle you too much once you've told them once you're not interested!

Good unintrusive staff... everyone was very well mannered. extremely cheap rates when booked through agora.

areas of hotel we still under renovation. it's a very dead hotel... not lively at all... didnt spend any time at hotel except to sleep

Great imposing entrance when you first get there. but upon closer inspection, a lot of the hotel is still under renovation. staff were informative and helpful. not intrusive at all which was a plus. rooms weren't anything special but served its purpose. we only went back to the hotel to sleep as it wasnt a lively hotel... spent all our waking hours elsewhere. air conditioner in the room wasn't strong enough. felt incredibly warm even when we left the air conditioning on all day. the phone in the room didnt even have a telephone wire... very weird oversight. first thing that hit me when entering the room was a very stale smell... not sure what caused it but wasn't very welcoming.

Nightlife Tip : Ku De Ta was only a ten minute walk up the beach... must go to experience.

beach access, near clubbing area.

dirty beach, bathroom is not too clean.

We were a little bit disappointed for the conditions of the hotel since it was not the same at all with the picture in the website. They have direct access to the beach, but the beach is not private beach, so there are a lot of sellers and massage people who approach us. The beach itself is also dirty. The superior room is OK. The bath room looks dirty because they use natural green stone. The pool is small. The breakfast is standard with limited choices of foods.

The pool and the breakfast.

The price?

Pelangi beach hotel is a very good and nice hotel. Here you got a wonderful breakfast beside the pool which is very nice. It's also just 10 m from the beach so this hotel is very nice. The location is also good with 5 km from the Kuta center and it's a lot of possibilities to go around the island from here.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Shopping mall.

I find the location the best feature of the hotel. You step out of Pelangi and you are on the sands of Seminyak. The restaurant area is perfect to have a romantic dinner. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff very helpful. The balcony area is an amazing place to enjoy tea and the company of your partner.

Rooms were not very spacious. Even the superior or deluxe ones were smaller then i thought them to be.

Located on the beautiful Seminyak beach, this hotel provides the comfort and relaxation that one comes to find in Bali. I like the restaurant area especially which was very close to the beach, you can enjoy the scenic view while having a delicious meal and then go for a walk on the sands of Seminyak. Inside the hotel the balcony area is not just beautiful but has a romantic feeling to it, looks like a 60's movie-set, an excellent place to enjoy your morning tea. The staff was very kind and helping, they have done a nice job in keeping the hotel clean and tidy. Though I think rooms were not that spacious. Overall the hotel is nice and clean and has the perfect location for a tourist that wants to stay on the shore.

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk to the main street, and was okay for a night or two but wouldnt stay the whole holiday at pelangi. Everything else was clean. you may want to request for extra pillows as there is only one flat pillow for each person.

Restaurant Tip : There was a little cafe near the hotel called the Bestest Cafe. Really good cocktails and food not a bad price either.
