nice place and great services. Not to far from shopping mall, good choice if you want to relax and enjoy view in quiet and exotic area around bali.
The only annoying thing was the sound of airplanes passing by above the villa and it was quite loud.
Other than that, everything is great.

Nice Place, but far from city
Its a nice and Romaintic Resort, with all the privacy. Garden Villas are big and all have uniquie designs. Staff is very nice and the over all experience of the resort is good.

it a place where you would go to spend some quiet time with someone, its aloof from city and the neighborhood in which its situated is also not a very good one. so you have to be back early to the hotel and also there is no walk able restaurant or market nearby. the resort has its in house restaurant but its very expensive. overall if you get a good deal for booking it, you can spend couple of days there, but its no where near to the whole experience of bali, all the night life and beach is missing from it. yes one important point to mention is that its in the middle of the city so don't expect any beach or water activity nearby. its a very very hygienic hotel and the complementary stuff is in abundance.

Very nice staff, very nice resort but a bit far from shopping and restaurant zones; problems of access with taxis. We made nevertheless good use of their shuttle bus to Kuta and Semyniak.
They would nevertheless need to improve maid services. Our first night had a drama because of urinated side in the bed with strong smell in the mattress and bed sheets. She uses also to put the plates from room service diner outside the door in the garden, which would stay all day...

We finished our Bali's trip in this hotel. Just a couple of nights were good enough to discover a wonderful place. The villa is 5 stars! The staff, the location, the facilities, the mixture with the nature, everything is excellent in this hotel. The room is huge, our the balcony area offered to us a clear view of the river and forest. The bathroom is like open air but offers absolutely privacy and comfort. We could get the chance to enjoy the spa over there and the nirvana was wonderful. We really recommend this villa!

Lovely hotel but inconvenient location

First Impression: Getaway from the busy parts of Bali, without the mosquitoes from the Padi.
Villa has a traditional exterior look.
Cleanliness: The outdoor area of the villa was not cleaned when we first arrive. The sheet on the outdoor mat was not changed and was covered with leaves and some insect. Had to request for it to be done. Also, same with the bathtub, it has leaves and ants in it.
No hot water when we want to shower. There were 2 tabs, one for the cold water and one for the hot water, quite troublesome to use. The tab to the hot water has no water coming out from it. When the technician came, he ask us to wait for 20 mins before trying again. I believe he had misunderstood and thought that there is water coming out from the tab but cold. I had to fix this myself, by turning on the supply of water going to the heater tank. Do note that, the hot water supply is limited so it might run out halfway through you shower. Definitely not enough, if you are going to soak in the tub and shower after with your partner.
Staff also failed to replace towels after taking them away for cleaning.
In general, good living condition but just a few minor details that need improvement.
Things to note:
Toilet is outdoor, not really that much mosquitoes but still a few bites from trips to the toilet at night.

If you looks for a relaxed and laid back holiday, this definitely the one. The villa is located at rural area and surround by residential. There is a small river in front from the villa we stayed, at night it is very quiet and only heard insects and frogs. Free bicycles are provided. The showers and bath are outdoors. The towels will only replaced upon requested which a bit dissatisfied. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you looks for convenient location, this is not a good choice. You have to book taxi or take shuttle bus.

Nice resort but could do with better service

We booked a private pool villa and stayed only for one night. The place was well tucked away in a quiet village. The pool was very clean and the room was comfortable. particularly liked the bathroom which was open-air.
A bit of a disappointment was we ordered a romantic package of dinner and petal bath. They gave us the dinner then told us they ran out of petals... I was becoming quite disappointed and in the end they did somehow find a bag of petals to set up the bath for me. I just thought if it was do-able all along, maybe they could have just tried in the first place or given us a discount for the dinner as it was a package we paid for..
we were also used to very prompt service at the other resorts we stayed in so when my partner for example called front desk to ask for a converter twice and after waiting about an hour each time he walked up to fetch it himself we weren't quite used to it. If you're after a relaxed and laid back holiday then this probably won't bother you, but if you're after quick service or always on the go this might not be for you.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a small cafe about 300m from the resort when you're walking out of the village owned by a German lady. Very cheap but delicious mee goreng if you're after a cheap eat.
