the way to the beach is dark and not too safe
The hotel is Indonesian style, with flowers, big trees, etc.
Breakfast was very good, changing a little every day. The room was very big and clean. The pool, as well, was very nice. Staff is very friendly and when you need something, you don't need to look for them, they are always there.
The only con was the road to the beach. We are beach lovers, but we could not go there late at night because the street is dark and there are so many cars and scooters.
But, per all, we stayed for 5 days and didn't want to leave anymore.

Good environment and very close to the beach, just the left side of hotel.

Comfortable and clean, with in walking distance to the beach restaurants.
This is hardly a con but this is an older Bali hotel that has been well kept!
We started our Bali holiday here. I booked this hotel based on it's proximity to the airport which is close enough for convenient transfer when flying in at night but not so close that the sound of planes is a problem. I highly recommend this hotel and will no doubt stay again when back in Bali. The staff were just fantastic and the meal quality exceeded our expectations for this type of accomodation. There is a supermarket for water, and other consumables at one end of the street and the beach at the other. Try "The Cuisine" (restaurant) We had dinner at two BBQ restaurants on the beach and "the Cuisine" was clearly better.
Travel tip : Ring the hotel before you leave to arange a hotel driver to pick you up.
