Beautiful reception and garden and nothing else
4.7
Incompetent Manager (reception), poor standard of rooms, worst New Years dinner ever experienced (buffet) with very low class performances not to mention the poor presenters (MCs) and way too expensive ($150 US) , not even a drop of wine included. Lazy staff but the smiled politely. To summarize, not worth the money!!!

Floating pavillions and free canoe
7.3
me and friends booked 2 rooms for new year hear and we had to pay for new year's eve dinner, quite expensive but the food was amazing! big buffet, all food are here with great taste. the receptionist upgraded us into suite room! amazing! thus hotel also has bike rental service, only rp 30.000 a day, but it was full, my suggestion is better if separate into two time section: morning and afternoon, could be with the same price or serve more bicycle. we eat lunch at the village, they have the best pasta ever.

fantastic hotel in a green flowered garden
9
a very friendly balinese welcome in a distinguished atmosphere;
everything is clean inside your room and also outside workers do their best you can walk barefoods. the beach is well maintained and many seats are available. security is ok. information of what is going on in the hotel is brought in by letter in every room.
the newyear's buffet was exellent although the show was a mix of balinese dances combined with modern worldshows. this mix was not appreciated by everyone. they should stick to only balinese traditions.
breakfast was not included in the price and rather expensif which makes the stay financially heavier
Hotel Feature Tip:
a hotel for rich people

Convenient typical beach front
Lots of local eateries on the beach nearby
7.7
this is a huge hotel with rooms ranging from basic to luxury. we didn't like the first room assigned to us and had issue with hot water. however the second room was quite enjoyable - a balinese styled villa. we enjoyed the swimming pools which are designed and kept well. the grounds of the property is lovely with many varieties of flowers, fruit trees and etc. the daily free yoga at 7am and 4pm was convenient. staff are well trained and pleasant consistently.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tour arranged by the hotel is not professional. Just a driver trying to make money of you by taking you to shops. Better of arrange it with the organized tour companies.

Pleasant Relaxing Experience with Great Service
8.7
We arrived to see rooms that were showing signs of age. The faucets and bathrooms were clean but warn down and in need of an upgrade, and one of the room's AC was not working properly. One night we were bitten with many mosquitos that had come into the room because the cleaning staff did not keep the door closed while cleaning the room, which opened to the outside. However, when we reported these problems to the hotel staff, they were promptly addressed, and the hotel gave us a 50% discount on the Christmas banquet, which was lavish and unforgettable. We enjoyed ourselves at the pool and beach, as well as a poolside message. Overall, we were very happy with the Santrian and would go back again, but we will request rooms with newer bathrooms.

Nice hotel with good facilities
Large grounds with a private beach

The hotel was nice although the bathroom was slightly dated. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The only gripe that I had whilst staying at the hotel was that it took 45 minutes to check in due to the lack of communication between staff members. This issue was not limited to myself only as I overheard at least there other groups complaining about a similar issue.
The breakfast was very good and was one of the better buffet experiences that I had whilst staying in Bali. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Good middle of the road comfortable hotel
7.3
The hotel is perfectly situated next to the beach. We stayed at the hotel immediately following our stay at Komaneka at Bisma in Ubud where everything was perfect, so this was always going to be a tough act to follow.
Rooms are perfectly comfortable ... nothing to complain about, but location was awesome. For the price, i expected staff to be more on the ball and that more attention was paid to details.
Not a bad stay overall.
