My only comment which ruined the week was your confrimation was never received or sent to the hotel, we arrived quite late with a baby and had to hang around whilst

Great Swimming Pools and Beautiful Beach

1. Felt good being welcome by friendly and helpful frontline staff. Received some fresh fruits upon checking in.

Family with children must be enjoying there, great swimming pools, wonderful and clean beach, comfortable seating along /nearby the beach.

Good and tasteful F&B are available.

Great Hotel with beautiful surrounds

The Puri Santrian Beach & Spa Resort is a large, sprawling hotel that has a homely , well set out feeling about it.
We managed to experience all levels of accommodation after deciding to upgrade once checked in. With the 'Beach wing' rooms providing a standard style room with a balcony looking over the water features and courtyard to the opulent 'Santrian Club' rooms which provides a private amazing three level pool for residents of that wing. The gardens and landscaping is beautiful with Balinese statues and motifs throughout.
Restaurant Tip:
The dining and food is exceptional and quite good value for money considering it is a large hotel.

Garden was beautifull and pool was okay. Nice by the sea. Our room was bit worn out and at first we were upsead but after a while we got used of it (never liked it tough). But surroundisng were nice and that helped it.

Staff are friendly and attentive but need more training on customer service especially with respect to problem-solving;
Good recreational options available, e.g. yoga, cooking, cultural dance.

Overall, a very pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Travel tip:
Take your own iron
When visiting Ullwatu temple; pack your glasses/earrings into a zipped bag - these will be snatched by the monkeys!!The monkeys are particularly aggressive here. Carry food (peanuts/bananas) to retrieve your goods.

Hotel is in a great location, walking distance near restaurants, bars, etc. It was nice to be in Bali and not have to get in a taxi or deal with traffic. Free wifi was nice. I didn't see any difference between a garden wing and beach wing room. Beach wing is closer to the beach but you are still not on the beach or that near. Also, we got "upgraded" to the Club area, which had its "own" pool but was furthest from beach. Not sure I would pay for Club room if offered. Beds were hard and the little couch to sit barely fit one person. Grounds were beautiful. I am guessing that the hotel has expanded by building up as it seemed kind of crowded and we weren't even there during busy season. Needed to get to the beach or pool early so you could get a chair. Maybe that is how it is at every resort in Sanur but fighting and looking for a place to sit was a drag and then sitting elbow to elbow (well, not that bad but you get the meaning) killed the laid back beach resort feel. Staff very friendly, helpful, nice. Overall, good hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
So many restaurants walking distance that if you are looking to save some money, get a room without breakfast and go to a restaurant instead.

This is a great hotel. (Originaly checked into Bali Hyatt but had to leave as rooms are filthy.) Puri Santrium is the complete opposite. We upgraded to a club room & features & cleanliness was first class. Also ironically much cheaper than previous choice. The shaded day beds facing the beach provided excellent all day relaxation. The staff were attentive & polite. My only issue was the evening manager on checkout but i put this down to language issues more than anything. He couldnt understand that Barclays put a stop on the card because of Indonesia. something to be aware of. Also breakfast seating is far from where the food is served. Nevertheless I will definitely be staying here again when in Bali
Restaurant Tip:
Get a 15,000 rupiah taxi ride to Luhtu's beach coffee/ resturant you won't be disappointed
