Friendly staff. Please be aware that tours only mean transportation to a site and not entrance fees or guides. As long as you are aware of that then no problem. Book less as a package and choose activities when you are there. Local transportation is less expensive than when arranged by hotel. Spa is a great value. Pool is very nice. Couples United States of America, February 12, 2013	When paradise comes to you Great accomodations, great customer service, fantastic chefs, easy transport to Ubud and away 9.7 My wife and I recently stayed at the Puri Sunia when we traveled to Bali. The staff was incredibly accomodating and even helped us to arrange our travel from the airport as well as our travel to Gili Trawangan. The hotel is located just about 15 minutes north of Ubud and is absolutely serene. I was incredibly impressed with the staff, their chefs, and their professionalism. I would highly recommend the Puri Sunia to any and all travelers that are ok being just far enough away from the action of Ubud, but certainly want 4 star service. Hotel Feature Tip: The only advice that I have for travelers is to make sure that you ziploc or bag any and all food that you bring into the hotel. On our second morning we found ants had slipped through a crack and had gotten into our food. Other than that, this is an amazing hotel and we will definitely be coming back.

Couples Malaysia, January 27, 2013	small hotel superb hospitality fantastic service quiet tranquil location, friendly staff with can-do attitude and service 10 puri sunia turned out to be the best hideaway for our last-minute weekend getaway! the hotel is far from the maddening bali tourist crowd, about 15 mins drive from ubud city center. it is a small hotel but big on everything else. the staff is wonderful, always ready to serve anything that you want. the room is fantastic. food served at the restaurant is better than other 5-star hotels I've experienced (the breakfast is to-die for!). the hotel offers free one-hour yoga lesson in the mornings(must try); morning walk around the village/paddy field on(must do, you'll love it!); free afternoon teas by the pool(we came back too late on all days we were there). the spa is heavenly. they can arrange day trips to other parts of bali(we went to watch the sunset at tanah lot). best unplanned holiday we ever had. we regret that our stay was too short. Hotel Feature Tip: this is a place to go to if you want quiet and relaxing vacation. ubud is not too far off if you are interested in balinese arts and culture scenes (the hotel offers free hourly trips to the city center). the service and the friendly staff will make you feel very much at home.

Overall good experience. However, need car to go out. Nothing more can be done at night except for watching TV. The shuttle bus only go to ubud palace, thus not convenient for us to go around with young babies.

Couples Australia, January 08, 2013	buetiful secluded paradise luxurious garden setting freindly attentive staff 10 we were upgraded to a deluxe villa, free of charge , we were blown away at the buetiful gardens,luxurious and very private rooms.staff were allways very helpfull,breakfast delicious,lunches great and not too expensive,cooking class great fun and full of information.only 10 mins from ubud,great for total relaxation and seclusion. small complaint being milk in coffee could be better,tea needs to breww longer before being poured.there was a slight fishy smell from the water i think not sure at times. other than that top stuff.lovely botique hotel with freindly staff.

Would we turn -no. If you go only do a couple of nights. Shopping Tip: If you have a baby with a buggy do not take it into Ubud as pavements awful!

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with such friendly and warm service which continued throughout the entirety of our trip. The rooms were immaculately laid out and very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the early morning yoga which is provided and proved a wonderful way to start the day. The hourly shuttle service to and from Ubud central was convinient and very easy to use. Being situated outside of Ubud itself meant it was incredibly peaceful and we there were scenic outlooks all around. Loved our staff and would highly recommend to others.
