hotel using salt water showering and bites by mosq

Internet picture looks nice, actual fact is not. Indeed room was quite big and spacious but everything was damn old, not reasonably maintence hotel. Shower towers very old, guess hotel have been using for years and hotel is NOT willing to invest to new one. Imagine you'll have to use an old and dirty cheap looks white tower to wipe your body when staying here. Similar to other reviews, lot of mosquitoes in the room, poolside and restaurants. Also fly will be joining you in the resturant. The worst thing is the water supply in the room are very salty, no refreshment feels after showering, your hair tends to tangle because washing it with the salt water. Wifi is not free in your room, can't believe in year 2012 still there is this hotel asking you to pay for wifi? Although wifi is free at the lobby and poolside, but everytime you have to ask for the password to access and it is limited 2 hours usage. Sum it up, miserable stay in such hotel using salt water showering and bites by mosquitoes for 4night. Dude think twice before booking.

nice pool but very old room

the check in was super slow, we must wait a bit long for them preparing a room for us, and i wasn't sure it's a non smoking room as we ordered before.
the room looked dated, but the size was fine. The worse part is too many flies in the breakfast area, even on the breads and everywhere...

Excellent resort in not excellent town
Nice staff, comfortable rooms, very good restaurant and pool area.

We stayed there in November 2012. We had a private garden villa which was very good value. Private garden was small but big enough to give a feeling of privacy, you can open a window to the tarace and still feel private. It was a bit oldish (renovation was in progress as we stayed there), but very comfortable.
I'd recomment taking a villa due to the fact that it is in the most remote part of the resort so you don't have children running arround and can relax as you want.
Pool area was excellent with the very good food in the restaurant.
It is not at the beach, but beach is very close. Overal I Can recommend it if you want some comfort (and you'll need it in Kuta, which is a noisy overpriced and really nothing to do (except for the beach off course) place).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Except for the beach there is really nothing to do in Kuta (you can sit in the bar and sipp overpriced drinks). But if you rent a car (don't be affraid of the traffic - it is really easy to manage) than this is an excellent starting point to get to Ubud, Bukit and many other places). And gassoline is really cheap.

close to airport, beach and nice deep pool

quick walk eg 2minutes to beach. free shuttle bus to shooing centre/centro at kuta/ ,staff helpful
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
sunday late afternoon the locals bring their families to the beach to fish or play in the waves

Lovely hotel with friendly staff

Booked 2 deluxe rooms but was upgraded to the family suite on arrival. It had a king sized bed and 2 twin beds and a lovely garden. However, we had to wait for housekeeping to clean the floor as it was not very clean when we arrived.
Similar to other reviews, there were mosquitoes in the room even though the hotel provided a set of electronic mosquito repellant and we were especially careful not to leave the doors open as we traveled with young kids.
The staff are very friendly and helpful especially from the restaurant. Overall, the kids enjoyed themselves as there were ample space for them to run around and explore.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The beach within walking distance from the hotel was not very clean-lots of rubbish. Good waves for surfing.

Stayed at Rama beach then Ramayana.
Dont stay at Ramayana. Worst service ever.
Stayed at Rama beach, Fantastic. In pool suite villa. Would stay there a thousand times more. fantastic. enjoyed eveytime i was there, fantastic staff, only downside its a little bit of a walk to shops and markets. but would stay there again as the hotel made up for the walk in every way.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Shopping bad location for walking distance. but 1 min taxi ride really.

Great location by the beach. Pool and garden view is nice and clean. Food is nice especially the pizza. Villa structure is nice and neat. But this time, right after I checked in, I found 8 - 10 dead cockroaches in bathroom. Called the front desk and staff came in took it all away. Next morning there was aboutn 20 dead bees. And that same night, I heard bees hitting window so I looked outside and there was hundres of bees flying just out side of my room. Was scary.

Great middle of the range hotel in a good location
Beautiful pool area and excellent value for money.

we enjoyed our time at ramah beach, in fact we have been there twice this year! it is great value for money, has a lovely pool area, cool comfortable rooms and a well priced restaurant with relaxed live entertainment most nights.
Shopping Tip:
There are many cheap massage places just outside the hotel where you can get an all over massage or pedicure for only
50 000 rupiah! It is also close to the beach and a short taxi ride or long walk to the main shopping area of Kuta.

the only negative is breakfast very limited selection and when you needed something you always had to look for staff. seem to be talking to each other a lot.
