Friendly, extremely clean, relaxing

no pool bar,

We had never stayed in the south of Kuta before and found that the area is fantastic and Rama Beach Resort was the best. Very clean and friendly staff. Our time spent here was amazing, everything was nice right down to the food and selection you have. We had no hassles upgrading from a garden villa to a pool villa.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : do the bugger and tubing trip. It was amazing the veiws and sites were fantastic. The canyon were you tube down was amazing.

plunge pool villa was great

laundry took to long to get back to us. New year dinner was not worth the money and we should not have been made to book when we booked the hotel.

The hotel on first impressions looks great security on entry is good. Staff are very friendly. We were happy to be offered an up grade the plunge pool villa was really nice. Room service was good. But our New year experience was not so enjoyable i feel that we should not have been made to book the only reason we ate there and we had to pay for my daughter that was staying at the green garden was that it aws so expensive we could not afford to go anywhere else which is what we wanted to do in the first place.

Great facilities, close to beach, far enough away from Kuta.

Air con, transfers

Rama Beach is a well laid out, well maintained and very aesthetically pleasing setting with great rooms, well set out central pool/restaurant/bar area and not far from the beach. The rooms are spacious, but the air con is maybe a little old? It couldn't keep up in the heat of the day. The plunge pools and private courtyards are a great feature of the rooms, as is the plasma tv in the bath! I'd stay here again but I wouldn't rely on their drivers for transfers.

We were very pleased with the private pool in our villa and the pool of the hotel. Staff were very warm and friendly. You get a free coupon for a high tea at the hotel, which is very simple, and a complimentary 30 minute massage coupon.

We were dissapointed with the breakfast. Unlike most hotels that offer breakfast as an inclusive part of zour deal, this hotel only offered this on the FULL days you stayed. Therefore on the last day we were there, the breakfast was not included. Also, the hotel spa is quite expensive already, and be warned, they add 21% ontop of the price for taxes, but service tax is only 10%, so I dont know where the extra percentages came from.

In general a bargain hotel and at a good location if you like a quieter hotel just at the top of the bustling Kuta Beach. The hotel does not face the beach directly, but you just need to cross the road to get there. I am sure parts of the hotel had been renovated, but i felt our villa was a little aged, though I HIGHLY recommend a private pool if you want a little romantic privacy. 4 days was enough to enjoy the hotel, but then you start to notice all the little faults.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Bali Wildlife park is a great place to visit if you love animals. We were both cat lovers and loved the opportunity we got to cuddle a 4 month old tiger+

Ambience, lush greenary, quiet

security is slow to respond when we were woken up at middle of the night by loud door knocks. Apparently some young tourist were playing prank at his friend but knocked at the wrong door...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay there. The hotel staff were generally friendly. We love the lush greenary, pool and dining area the most. It's also very quiet because it is further away from the action at kuta. Walking to the heart of kuta action take about 25mins. If you enjoy walking as part of exercising:), this hotel is not bad. Otherwise, take the cab.

Cleanliness par excellence; big rooms, comfortable beds and pillows; tucked away from the busy Kuta thoroughfare, yet walkable there; close enough to the beach; very friendly staff, nice breakfast spread

would be nicer with a beach front

Value for money. Good as a base from which to explore Kuta and beyond. Conveniently close to the airport.

Nightlife Tip : The start of Kuta at your doorstep!

Stunning swimming pool & remarkable breakfast, friendly staff & very good housekeeping & cleanliness level.free transportation to kuta.

air-con is not working properly. once i turn on the tape, water is rusty color. There are some mosquitoes also.

I will not recommend to join hotel's tour as the price is not competitive compare to outsider & the standard is just so-so. Don't expect the hotel staff and locals will tell you the truth about the good restaurant. You must find out everything yourself and remember to bargain with taxi drivers & tour agent. Strongly recommend a good restaurant call 'pantai restaurant'just across the road.

Nightlife Tip : horse cart riding around kuta town is a nice experience.

The pool area is fantastic, with the padded deck chairs, the pool side bar and the beautiful setting. The rooms were very nice (we stayed in the superior and the deluxe). The two bottles of water free each day was a big pro. The staff were excellent - the best we had in bali - everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was also a major plus for Rama!

There was only minor cons about Rama. The TVs didn't work particularly well and in some rooms there was very limited channels. It would be good if DVD players were in all rooms as whenever we wanted one they werent available.

All in all our stay at Rama was fantastic! We stayed in three different hotels in Bali during our stay, and Rama was definitely the best. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful; the breakfast was amazing; the rooms were lovely and spacious; and the grounds were beautiful from the gardens to the pool area. We will definitely be returning to Rama Beach next time we are in Bali!

Need to have dvd players in room

The hotel was a pleasant surprise It is situated approx a 25 minute walk along the beautiful beach to the tourist/shopping centre of Kuta. I could not fault the staff or the service supplied by the hotel All aspects of my stay were excellent from the clean and well presented Villa with it's own private plunge pool to the restaurant with it's well presented breakfasts I really could noy fault the Hotel and i would go back to stay.

Staff at there very friendly and their service is quite good.

Breakfast choices not much, should be improve in future.

Overall this hotel is quite good in their service and their room was clean and tidy. However, i think the breakfast may need to be improve due to choices not much. Anyway, the beach is not in front of the hotel but is not far to walk over there. Just the beach is not so clear and nice to view at that place.

Restaurant Tip : We have try the food at the Bamboo corner, is quite nice and the price is valuable.

Resort looking, nice pool

air-con in room can be stronger

The Hotel is near to the beach but still quite a distance to Kuta. Good if the Shuttle to City can be more frequent. Other than Discovery Center, not much Food choices around. Room is clean, staff all can speak good english. But breakfast range doesn't change much everyday and it runs out by 10am even thou breakfast was till 10.30am. I like the big balcony.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Quite a few good massage centres around the hotel

beautiful setting amongst lush gardens and palm trees, each rooms villa has balcony. lovely pool with poolside bar and restaurant, EXCELLENT customer service from all the staff - extremely friendly, nice rooms and bathrooms

our tv didnt work very well and out of the 15 or so chanels only 1 engliah 1 worked. that was it.

the rama beach resort is in a quieter side of kuta - near lovely restaurants and shops but quiet enough to relax. perfect for couples or families wanting a break. 10/15 min walk to waterbom park and shopping centre. 10 min cab ride to pooppies street where the bars and clubs are. the pool was beautiful and we sent a few days chilling there with cocktails from the poolside bar. The rooms are big and the bed was lush and soft. the bathroom was equally as nice. service was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly! we extended our stay by an extra night and we got pretty much the same rate as we paid on agoda - which was nearly half the normal price - bargain for such a wonderful place!

Nightlife Tip : get a taxi or walk to the hardrock cafe and walk down poppies street that where all the bars and clubs are.

Good location

Hotel room is very tired and run down

Overall my stay at the Rama Beach Resort was a poor experience, I upgraded to a bungalow but was placed in a very old and run down part of the resort, aircon didn't work properly, bathroom was dirty and shower rose loose, this may have suited the budget traveler

Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure you see the room before checking in

Excellent location close to Kuta but still quiet Great variety of food Clean room Friendly staff

None

The hotel was in a great location very close to central kuta but not in the really busy area. A few minutes walk to the beach which was quiet. The staff were very kind and friendly, welcome drink provided. The breakfast offered great variety and was very good quality. There was a pleasant atmosphere, gardens very pretty and well maintained. Great pool.

Spacious room, clean toilet, hotel just upgrade, near to the beach.

10 min to Kuta beach

a good hotel to stay. price reasonable for the cozy room, very clean and spacious but not worth it if u like to go out and comeback during late nite morning afta club. suitable for family, big swimming pool, frenly staff. distance to shopping mall and kuta bit far to walk. better rent a motorbike or car for travelling.
