Decent Hotel, but Beware

This hotel is on lovely property, and the rooms are nice. The food is good at the restaurant, which overlooks the water. Its a tranquil place to stay, but its a long long drive from the DPS airport.
Some things to consider, wifi is not reliable in the rooms. If you want decent wifi, you will need to sit in the lobby. You can arrange tours in the lobby, but beware, they will try to change prices on you. I suggest you shop around before booking a taxi or tour through the hotel.

Surpreme views and lovely staff

We got a great deal on Agoda with this hotel and even got upgraded to junior suit upon arrival. We had no expectations and got so surprised with the luxury. Any kind of traveler would love to stay at this hotel.
The staff was so attentive and nice and our kids spent as much time in the pool area as possible.
There was free activities every day, lovely garden and the sunset was beautiful.
You will need to take a taxi to Candidasa for more restaurant options but the city has not that much to offer, so you can spent one night there and have seen it all anyway. Plus some of the restaurants give free taxi if you eat at their place.
Restaurant Tip:
Try their buffet and you will never go hungry again...

We stayed during 8 nights and we enjoyed it very much.
The personnel was very friendly, always smiling and helpful.
The room was average (kind of old decoration) but functional.
The animation is good (not excellent).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Quiet place, relaxing, nice swimming pool.

We were upgraded, which was fantastic, great location near the pool on ground floor. The rooms were pleasant clean and tidy. If I had one complaint it was the service around the pool was a little slow.
Restaurant Tip:
Must comment on the restaraunts in Candidasa town, beautiful, worth the walk into town 3km from The Rama, but most restaraunts shuttle you back.

me n husband stay for 3 days n 2 nights. Everthing is perfect. When im check in staff in Rama Candidasa Welcome us with flower, cold face towel and ice lemon tea. Smooth check in n front desk ans all my question perfectly. Bell boy service also great its perfect. When i asking for iron and iron board in 5 minute they send it to my room. Food also great n nice. The views is awesome. No regret at all. Price offer from agoda is super valueable.But its take 1 and half hour from Denpasar Airport.
Shopping Tip:
Dont afraid for bargin the price. Be carefull n always calculatif.

beautiful quiet seaside hotel

stayed for 2 nights in a garden bungalow, the hotel was lovely, staff helpful and the town of candidasa is peaceful and lovely. We went snorkelling with a tour organised by the hotel and this was great! I would definitely stay again

a lift is needed for the higher stages, services i.e food & drinks are unreasonably expensive, choice of meals so limited, location far from touristic destinations, and from service centers. breakfast kind of tasteless.
the sign in the rooms "reframe from using tap water" should be corrected to "refrain from using tap water".
some international tv channels like tv5monde is not continuously available.
there is no way to touch the water of the ocean from the hotel, as it has no beach .. only a rocky view.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a restaurant just outside the hotel that is a lot cheaper, and with acceptable service level.
