beautiful hotel
bathroom with a view of the sky, spacious room, pretty garden

I love the hotel. It was really pretty and the room was spacious with balcony overlooking the garden and a separate open area where you can hang your clothes out to dry. The bathroom has both the tub and the shower area that doesn't have the roof so you can see the stars at night (we were in the top floor).

The best
People who love Ubud will love this hotel. Gorgeous rooms, lovely pool, friendliest staff and only walking distance to the monkey forest. I will definitely come back again!

Loved the resort, especially the rooms
Great rooms, great grounds, great location

A comparatively new resort built in a garden resort style built on a long narrow strip of land which was very nicely landscaped and full of shrubs, trees, plants, ponds, etc. Pool was conventionally rectangular but had lots of plants around it. The restaurant was next to the pool and open sided so felt nice and fresh. We only ate breakfast there, which was a buffet with a reasonable range, mainly Western, but pretty bland and tasteless so disappointing.
Rooms though were great albeit décor was a bit plain. Very big rooms indeed, plus a corridor leading to the bathroom and also a separate open air 'room' for drying clothes etc. In the wide 'corridor' there was a dressing table with drawers and a large mirror as well as a cupboard with good hanging space as well as the important umbrella and torch. The main room had a comfortable 2 seat sofa plus the usual fridge/mini-bar and tea/coffee facilities as well. The beds were very comfortable and although only one bedside lamp, the rest of the lighting was OK. Flat screen TV with cable channels. Really great air-con which was kept on during the day, loved that. However, a) the room security (?) system kept beeping every 5 minutes which was not very loud but was a bit annoying, b) the curtains were too thin, c) the mini-safe was awkwardly placed but also had the code override instructions printed on a card in front of it – weird! Our bathroom was also huge with a large bath plus a massive separate shower area. Water pressure a bit low though.
Service was was pleasant. Hotel location was also excellent especially for Ubud, only about 20-25 minutes to Ubud Market. There were plenty of taxis though cruising by, if it was too hot to walk. There was a mini supermarket directly opposite the resort plus a bigger supermarket less than 5 minutes up the road. Overall an excellent hotel/resort close to the town centre.
Restaurant Tip:
Turn right out of the hotel and on the opposite side around 4 or 5 buildings up is a restaurant called The Pond. Medium priced and great situation overlooking the rice fields, great for sunsets, wonderful authentic Balinese food (plus some Western) really nicely presented, and great service. Highly recommended.

Nice resort with friendly staff
Friendly staff. Large bathroom. Nicely landscaped

resort is set on a skinny yet long block of land with lush tropical gardens. smallish but adequate pool area with basic swim up bar. open air style shower in large bathroom. staff super friendly and go out of their way to assist, going onto the street to find you a driver when their's is not available and making phone calls on your behalf. only drawbacks are disappointing breakfast. tired looking buffet with a chocolate flavored cereal the only cold option on offer! pre made omelettes looked unappetizing to say the least. we saw the spread on offer and decided not to eat breakfast in the hotel. close to monkey forest, arma and 15 minute walk to royal palace, less to scores of restaurants on monkey forest road. we even walked to goa gajah which took about 30 minutes. wifi around pool, restaurant, lobby and surrounding rooms half decent as long as there aren't too many people trying to use it at once.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Get a room close to the pool and restaurant for in room wifi.
