Great location and homy
in the middle of Bali's tourist area.

The hotel location is very close to Kuta shopping area. We checked in late (about 8 pm), but we still have opportunity to go shopping and have a dinner. The hotel's lobby and room interior are dominantly made from wood, make us feel like at home.

Hotel have good service and friendly. Breakfast changes a bit everyday which is good, you don't want to eat the same things for 5 straight days.
Shopping Tip:
Have to bargain the price a lot in Kuta street market.

the hotel is very clean, nice pool, great breakfast with great choice from the buffet, when leaving in the late afternoon there is a storage for the luggage, as well as the possibility to take a last shover, you will get a towel and soap

Old hotel in a very good location

Actually this hotel is already quite old. Some of the furnitures look old, though they try to maintain well. The service is moderate and breakfast is acceptable. The location is near the beach, and walking distance to the discovery mall.

stayed a total for 4 nights at the hotel. the location is good as it is right smack in the core of kuta. 5 mins walk around the hotel area will get you many restaurants, kfc, gelato, etc. a 10-15mins walk will get you through legain with even more options. even though the map shows the hotel being very close the beach, you can see the beach from you room. a walk to the beach takes about 5mins or less.
the rooms are clean. the furniture and fittings are a little bit old. the bed was squeaking and the bath tub's base was "peeling". the breakfast that was included was acceptable although you will definitely realize that the dinner served at the same restauarant (payable and open to public)is so much better.
the spa charges are ridiculously high. you have a lot of options when you walk around the city. the overall setting of the hotel is good and the staff are all friendly.

enjoyed staying at Ramayana because of its location and service. Quick check-in and check-out,good transport service and nice breakfast place. all in all the stay was comfortable :)
