lovely old hotel
the location is just great

i stayed 2 days during my last visit to bali. the location of the hotel is superb, the hotel is quite good, but my room was a bit old. the water is too hot. but overall, its an ok place to stay.

i have stayed in many hotels in kuta. for this hotel, i have paid much more for the room which i can get a similar standard room nearby and at a much cheaper rate. similar standard hotel nearby provide more free added services. the most important service is wifi or free internet services. for this hotel, i am very disappointed that they to do not have free wifi and have to pay for the hourly internet access so what is the point for paying higher hotel rate?? the in-house massage is at least 1.5 times more expensive than those offered in silmiar standard hotel. the standard of massage is so-so only. if you have spare money to waste, then you can stay at this hotel.

Ramayana is located not so far away from Kuta Beach. Bout few minutes walk away. Kuta beach is one of the beautiful beach in Bali where you can see lots of foreigners sun bathing during the day time. Must go! Ramayana has two swimming pools. Nice decoration and clean toilet. Just that the interior furnishing is bit old and the cleaniness of the bed sheet can be improved.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Ubud!!!!! Ubud is a town where you can see lots of "padi" field and lots of good restaurants around. "Babi guling" at the Warung IBU OKA next to the palace. "Bebek Bengil" or "Dirty duck" or you can call crispy duck at that area.

Had the best time here. The pool is great, the staff are so friendly, the buffet breakfast is awesome, so close to the markets and the beach. We stayed in a standard room and it was clean, the bed was king size and so comfortable and the air conditioning was great! We ordered room service one night and ordered a pizza, it was quick to arrive and still cheap. Definitely will stay no where else but the Ramayana the next time we are in Bali

I have been staying at Ramayana for the past 15 years. I have made good friends with all the staff and have always found them very friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are always cleaned well an very secure. The pool area is fabulous. Great pool staff an nice to sip a cold bintang or a cocktail while swimming.
You can buy wifi cards at reception so you can keep up with all Internet ! Or you can go to the first floor internet room.
Situation is perfect for everything. The beach, all shopping areas an across road from markets an right near Kuta square. If looking for the right place to stay Ramayna is it !! Excellent !!!

were in bali, last weekend. great destination for a holiday. the hotel has an excellent location, close to the beach and also shopping and as well for night life. prefer the rooms facing the pool as the rooms facing the main road are noisy. bathrooms are of european standards. hotel pools are enjoyable. the hotel staff was very courteous and room services is very good. the breakfast buffet has a lot of variety.
for changing currency, the rates are variable. can get it changed at a roadside shop,who is giving a better rate but be very careful in counting before u leave.
shop, only if u can haggle a lot.

We choose this hotel and spend 3 days in kuta, very nice hotel with great location. Resorts like discovery and dynansty are bit far from Poppies I and II where you could find nice foods. Also hotel is just cross street to beach.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try the restaurant in this hotel and choose 2nd floor, you will not regret

The location is at a very prime area, at the kuta square. Food joints, shops, shopping malls are just in the surrounding area. Even the kuta beach is 2 mins walk from the hotel.
Rooms in Ramayana are spacious, neat & clean.
Staff was always friendly & helpful.
