Ramayana Resort & Spa without a doubt had the perfect location everything was within walking distance. But above all the staff made all the difference with our stay from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and a bow of the head which culturally showed a sign of respect. The first thing I was asked was how are you today? A simple gesture that goes along way! From then on every morning when i'd walk through the hallway towards the elevator for the delicious morning breakfast buffet I'm greeted with a Selamat Pagi by the staff its so warming and welcoming. Our deluxe room was fantastic, it was spacious, housekeeping was daily so I can say thanks to Ramayana I had the best birthday ever! thanks Ramayana
ps: they have these adorable fish in the pond that you can feed too
Restaurant Tip:
Have to eat at the Hotels restaurant its called Gabar if I can remember correctly, try the Indonesian dish where they have like 8 different Indonesian dishes its culturally inspiring, and its like travelling through Indonesia in one meal! :)

Nice corner hotel in busy Kuta

Nestled on a street corner, compared to other loud and busy hotels in Kuta. Nice place to camp and spend the day on other beaches around Bali, though Kuta beach is just walking distance. Spa is just ok. Pool more for lazing around than swimming. Food is above-average.
Hotel Feature Tip:
This is a nice hotel to stay, if you are planning to be in Kuta, Legian kinda noisy and crowded beaches. Either ways, can camp here during the day and spend entire day on other beaches or take a day trip to Ubud. For going to other beaches, just take the blue-bird local taxi that charges by meter.

Good location but a bit old and run down.
Very close to Kuta Beach.

Breakfast was OK but nothing to rave about - although there is the choice of asian, continental and american. I was a solo traveller and was given a twin room with two narrow single beds. Bathroom was old with slightly mouldy shower curtain.

Just across the road from Kuta Square.

Good Location, walking distance to the Art, Day & Night Markets. There is a sport bar, mini-mart, Japanese resturant and Chinese Seafood Resturant just beside the hotel.
The hotel service is good, love the big 4-pole bed but the room needs a make-over (furnitures are old), breakfast spread is average only and no gym facility.

I been to Bali every year, sometimes even Twice a Year, Tried many Hotels, yet to say, this is the Best in Location, Convenience. Only set back is During Breakfast. Repeated Buffet Menu for the 4 Morning, difficulties finding a table of 3. Older Service staff at the Restaurant are not Helpful, Rude at times. This only happen at the Restaurant. The rest of the Hotel Staff are very Helpful. Rooms are good size. Pool rather small but acceptable provided if not all Guest visit the Pool at the same time. I would say I will sure to come back again to this Hotel!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go and visit Sea Walker! Turtle Island. Nice!!!

The Hotel & service was great..

The Housekeeper were very honest... not even once they touched our things event thou we did left some cash on the table while we were out...
The customer service also were very polite ....
The Room is also in gd condition.. big bed... clean... infact Ramayana is juz excellent... Would love to visit it again soon... ^-^
