we were upgraded to a pool villa. our stay was amazing. staff were ever so helpful right from front of house through to the gardener. restaurant was also great. the location was perfect for first. timers to bali. another plus was you could walk straight into the sports bar which also had amazing food.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
For those who are going to potatohead you must not have any alcohol label on your clothing. Also if you are going to the rock bar no singlets or board shorts. We learnt the hard way.
Also to get out of the airport there is a $15 fee on departure.

I booked Ramayana Resort for 2 nights. Im satisfied with this hotel. The hotel located at strategic location which near Kuta Town Area. Resort very beautiful and have various choices of restaurant. Hotel near Kuta Square and Discovery Mall, just walk around 5 minutes to Kuta Square and 10 minutes to discovery mall.
Shopping Tip:
Hotel located at Kuta Town Area. Lots of shop beside the hotel.

It was in great location and we were staying when chinese new year.
We bought hotel voucher through online Travel agent and it was compulsory for chinese new year dinner.
Bit dissapointed With the Food temperature as it was served buffet.
The taste was so so but the staff was very friendly so i would not bother at All.

it is a 5 star hotel at kuta, the food at the restaurant is good with lots of variety.
there are two swimming pools but only one is good for swimming however is nearly 2m deep! so be careful!
staffs smiling all the time and are very helpful,
the room size is a bit small but everything you need you may find inside the room, there is balcony with two chairs in deluxe rooms with a pool view,
there is LCD TV in the room with lots of channels to watch,
however the only thing is the hotel age which may need somehow a renovation sometimes soon
the location is really good, everything is near, beach is just 5-7 min walking distance, the discovery shopping mall is just 10-12 min walking at lots of small shops on the street but bargaining is a must!!

Discovery shopping mall, matahari mall,lots of small vendors on the street,
but always bargain first!

I have been staying at Ramayana hotel since 2010 when I visit Bali. This excellent 4. 5 star hotel continues to improve its service quality with each stay, which is highly appreciated. The staff know me by name, and go to great lengths to make my stay comfortable. The club apartment is heavenly, especially the ones facing the pool, which are not subject to traffic noise. I had a 2.5 hour spa during my recent stat and left the hotel "re-birthed"!
