-Strategic location. Easy access to everywhere - Poolside Cottage room is too small The resort located at good location, easy access to morning market and Kuta beach. Happy with 30mins complimentary massage and afternoon tea. And also happy with New Year dinner. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has various choice. But poolside cattage room is too small. Thank you for honey moon decoration.

i have stayed at this hotel many times, my first suggestion is to book your room at deluxe room caused you will see a renovation, clean and nicer room. the location is no doubt, it is the best, but sometimes means bad traffic and loud sounds. but it worth if you stay only for 2 nites so you can cut traveling time when you need to go around bali.

- Service in Business Center was poor. On the first day of check in I had a bad experience with the business center. Three of the four computers we not working properly, and I couldn't print some information.
When I tried to ask the attendant to assist, she had no knowledge of how to fix the problem. In addition, she had very little English skills.
Besides that, the service at the buffet was OK.
The breakfast selection was OK, not excellent, but decent.
The rooms were clean, a little dark and musky, but clean. One of our lamp sockets were broken, so the lamp would turn off and on.

Breakfast ok but could be better Unexpected stop in Bali to arrange flights back, hotel is easy to get to from airport and in good location, its surprisingly very quite and peaceful as its surrounded by the bustle of the shops and close to the Kuta beach. Very good value for a rather classy hotel. Nice reception area, lovely gardens, deep pools which were nice, the room was good for the price, staff very friendly. All together a good place to stay

The swimming pool was great. Out of the few restaurant found at the hotel area the sport reataurant was very good. The local food nasi goreng in gabanah restaurant was not up to the expectation. The swimming pool near to the restaurant close too early. If all the rooms are carpeted the feeling will be great. Overall the hotel facility is good and also in a good location. My family really enjoyed apart from the terrible weather. The sport reataurant was good, nice place to spend time for dinner followed by a few drinks if you do not want to walk a long distance for you dinner especially for the older people. The spa looks great a little expensive really don't bother me much as it is only once in a blue moon. The swimming pool was great with a nice atmosphere especially in the late evening.
Shopping Tip : Very well located near shopping and dinning areas.

it's strategically located in Kuta, a walk to all the eateries etc.. taxi is easy.. staff is friendly. nice pool.. overall no complaint really. not bad.. would stay again, strategic location, not too bad a service, breakfast is OK and pool is nice.

Great staff and very nice rooms.Never had a single
problem while checking in or checking out. had to climb 2 flights of stairs but after eating
all the excellent food needed the excercise. tThe Ramayana resort location is excellent close to
the beach,hard rock cafe,matahari shopping complex.the security staff and hotel crew are real
sweethearts.did not have time to try the brealfast buffet but wouldcheck it out when i return to Bali.The pool and garden are quite a great addition to the complex.The hotel was installing a
Footy Xmas tree which i thought was a very neat
idea,wish i took a picture was pressed for time
because i was on a frequent flyer trip would have stayed longer but the day job comes first.Once again hats off to the great staff there.

Excellent location, Near to Beach & Market. Nice and Very Good Hotel, cooperative staff. Good spacious rooms, well decor. The best part of the hotel is its location,, very near to kuta beach. If one have to shop the market is near by. Hotel Ambinace is excellent. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Staff is good, polite. We had a comfortable stay there in Ramayana.. and I suggest If you are planning to stay in Kuta, Ramayana shall be a good choice.

Location! Gardens, clean rooms, tastefully furnished, good security, polite staff. Pricing themselves higher and higher each year. Breakfast is just so so. The Ramayana is centrally located in Kuta. Close to all the shops, restaurants, nightlife and the beach. It is easily reached from Ngurah Rai Airport (10mins.max).
The rooms are tastefully furnished, clean and they have satellite TV! This is a luxury in Bali.
I would definetly recommend it to traveller's wanting to stay in Kuta.

The staff was great. The location is great. Bathroom could have been cleaner I really enjoyed myself. The hotel was nicer then what I expected but the shower tiles could have been cleaner in my bathroom. You could see the black mold on some of the tiles in the shower area. The staff was very nice and helpful. However I would like to remind the English speaking travels whose 1st language is English to be a lot more considerate. Remember you are in their country and English is not their 1st language so be patient if the staff does not understand what you are saying at that very second.
The location of the hotel is right smack in the middle of everything. So if you like that city vibe you will feel right at home. Although the hotel is right in the middle of everything when you are inside the hotel and on the hotel grounds you don’t even realize you are staying in the middle of the city.
For the vegetarians or whatever crazy label you want to attached to yourself you will be fine. I only eat fish but I do eat eggs so the free breakfast was fine and from the looks of it they kept all meat products separate from non-meat items.
Restaurant Tip : If you are a non-smoker get all of your meals to go. You will save on the service fee and not have to inhale all that cigarette smoke. I tell you they smoking like it’s going out of style. So save yourself the headache and ask for take away.
Also if you enjoy hot stone massage Bali is not the place for them. Their idea of a hot stone massage is just placing hot stones on you and in my book that is not a hot stone massage at all.

First time stayed at Ramayana and have to say it is awesome. Staff really friendly, Rooms were huge and very clean. Breakfast was good but could have more variety (pancakes etc). Location is the best in Kuta. Close to everything. Even being in the hustle and bustle you wouldn't know it when you are in the hotel grounds.

very centrally located. could walk everywhere from the hotel rooms could still do with a lot of improvement
service was terrible as no one attended to our air conditioning problem for a whole day. our first day here was a nightmare! on arrival they claimed that the room which we had booked was being 'upgraded' and was in renovation progress. ( why on earth do u let people book a room that isn't available in the first place!) so they very 'kindly' upgraded us to the club suite. we walked into the room at 2pm n noticed that the air cond wasnt working. the gro came to the room n said it needed time to cool up. 2 hrs later its still not working n by then we've called them 3 times abt it. a technician comes, looks at the air cond n doesnt come back at all. at 8pm there's a complete blackout which went on till 1230am! i can't comprehend how a hotel of this status has no working generator! at 1 am a guy finally gets our air cond working. n the best part is no apologies or anything what so ever on their part. suffered a whole day in the blazing heat! would def not recommend this crappy service to anyone and mind u our apparent upgrade was the worst grade ever!

More music variety around the pool maybe? Ramayana resort was tops. Didnt have any issues upon check in and were presented with an absolutely spotless room. The pool has plenty of beds and always a good atmosphere. Only downside is that there was only 1 music cd that seemed to play all day. Breakfast was great aswell. The only issue we had was a water pipe randomly burst in our room, however this was fixed up quickly and with no problems.

Great location,excellent rooms, beautiful gardens I didn't see any weaknesses it was great We had a wonderful stay at the Ramayana. The staff could not do more, the free 1/2 hour foot massage was fantastic. The rooms by the pool are defiantly worth the extra dollars. The gardens surrounding the hotel were beautiful well looked after. The location is fantastic 3 minute walk to the beach but the markets all around. The more uppermarket shops also very close. We will be back to stay there again thank you.

Friendly hotel staffs.Helpful and always smiling. The pavements aroud the hotel could get abit at night, especially if your room is at the last block. Location of Ramayana Hotel is good. Its in the middle of lots of shopping areas. Its just by the road side so its very accessible. A very nice hotel to stay in if you like the tradition and balinese architecture. Just a small setback, I didn't see a lift around the hotel. So if your room is at the last floor you got to climb the stairs.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Quite a few moneychangers around the hotel.
