only good point, Location.
room not ventilated, towels yellow and old. tv, furniture and lighting very poor.
For that kind of price we are paying, this hotel is a rip off. So so so dissapointed with room, with funny smell and very out dated tv and lighting. Toilet is always short of towels, when asked,housekeeping reply was "out of stock" and "no more". What hotel is this? will never never return or recommend this hotel. NEVER.

Position, friendly staff.
Guests were noisy a couple of nights around the pool. Spoke to staff and this was addressed.
We love this hotel. Great location, quick walk to the beach. Close to most popular amenities. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Great new pool deck mattresses. Our poolside room had been renovated and we had a new 37" widescreen TV which was great. Breakfast still good. New pool bar seemed to be popular.
Restaurant Tip : Gloria Jean's is just around the corner, buy a coffee and you can use their internet for free. Use their computers upstairs or bring your own laptop. Internet is quite quick which is a bonus. Staff there really nice and helpful.

Pool, location, rooms, hosptality
The hotel is good located, the pool is nice, the stadium restaurant have european food very good, the restaurant gabah is very nice, but the food is specific for this area. The hotel is neared to mataharii place - a good place for shopping. The rama spa is expensive, comparatvely with another place in kuta.As a revie the hotel is ok comparative with price. The music in hotel is very relaxant.

I liked the Hotel because the personnel working there were very polite and very accommodating. The restaurants were very attractive, the food was good and tasty. I ate most of my meals at the restaurants
and enjoyed the service and the comfort.
The Pool areas were very attractive and comfortable. The personnel attending the Pool areas were very courteous.

Great location, very central in Kuta and only a few minutes walk from the beach. Breakfast was included and was very high quality.
Renovations occurring on 2nd pool while we were there was unfortunate.
Our stay at Ramayana was great! The location was good as it is very central in Bali to main tourist spots. The beach is only a 2-3 minute walk through the markets so you can combine shopping on the trip as well. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. I would recommend the afternoon tea if you can make it as the pastry chef is fantastic

Restaurant pricey and food not that good (except breakfast)
Staff were great could not do enough for us. Free upgrade to Resort Club, Whoo hoo! Very clean, great amenities. Location although not on the beach is a strong point.
Shopping Tip : Kuta markets just across the road, bargains galore.

Internet facilities are limited in hotel.
I always enjoy staying at the Ramayana Htl. The staff are professional and always friendly. Breakfast is good with lots of options to choose from. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and the air conditioning works a treat.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. You are right in the middle of all the action. Shopping, the beach, restaurants, transport are all close to the hotel.
there are 2 pools and a day spa, there are numerous restaurants within the hotel vicinity, a convenience store, tour desk and pharmacy.
I recommend this hotel highly,
Restaurant Tip : try the gulah restaurant at the hotel. They have many meal options and make a great wood fire pizza.

Very nice people, and a good spa.
It was my first time in Bali...I loved it. I stayed at Ramayana Resort and Spa and I loved it. The people were very nice and kind and for sure I will be back again. Thanks for your kindness and I loved the spa and the massage. The food was very tasty. Hope to be back soon.

Two swimming pools, comfortable bed, lovely room with excellent air conditioning and fridge. Room service very quick and efficient.
Very busy would not go at that time of year again.
We have traveled to Bali many times over the past few years and this hotel has definitely got the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and all the amenities at the hotel were in excellent working order. The pools were lovely and the poolside lounges would have to be the best I have ever seen. Would highly recommend.

all staffs are very helpful & nice.
I really enjoyed staying at Ramayana hotel, this is my 1st time to Bali with my wife, and we have enjoyed using the facilities, and the good treatments from all the staffs, from the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, security, etc..they are so nice and always offer helps to customers. I will sure go back again in the near future, and this time will bring along my kids.

The only small complaint is that they are currently doing alterations around one of the pool areas, although it didnt stop us using it.
The Hotel Ramayana is a very good hotel, lovely staff, good food, and nicely furnished rooms. There is a tropical feel to it which gives a very relaxed atmosphere, which is the total opposite of just outside it, being Kuta. Its a good place to recharge your batteries. I didnt like Kuta very much, but have no real complaints regarding the hotel.

Location is in the middle of things for Kuta area. Very nice rooms with local flavor.
No beach. Heavy traffic area.
The Ramayana is in a great location if you want to stay in the Kuta area. There are dozens of restaurants in the area, as well as many shops and a full fledged shopping center. It is a short walk to the beach, and traffic can be quite heavy in the area. It sometimes seems like the hotel is under endless remodeling, but it's usually confined to small areas at a time.
Shopping Tip : There are a lot of discount 'clearance' shops in the Kuta Square area, a short walk from the hotel.

We stayed one night at the Ramayana. At arrival they didn't had our reservation. It was booked to Agoda, but they couldn't find it. Took a long time before they found it out that they booked the room under my frontname and not the surname. When we got our deluxe rooms we found the room was really dark and outdated, but for one night we didn't care. However the matrasses were really worn. They were so bad that you could feel every piece of iron in it and they were too old. We asked for different matrasses: was impossible all the beds were like that they said (a matrass on a wooden plate). Still we wanted to change rooms: got a different room, still bad beds. The room had a balcony overlooking a concrete wall and a satellite dish. For one night who cares..But if you stay there longer - not good! The complimentary bottle of mineral water was half full and not sealed. When we took a shower/bath the whole toilet/bathroom floor got soaked with water from sink in the floor. The breakfast box we got early in the morning for our departure to the airport was the most ridiculous I have ever seen. No water in the box or any drink. A very small apple, no napkins, two small sweets and an egg and butter. No knife or what so ever. Should I put my egg on the apple or the sweet? For over 100 US you can do much better in Bali! I will for sure not recommend this place. The Lokha Legian is much cheaper, nice breakfast box (with an omelet and water, fresh fruits), bigger rooms and great employees! Never again this hotel. Asked for a wake up call since we had early departure to airport, guess what? Never got it!
