Excellent Hotel...great location
Location, beatiful surroundings and clean
We stayed here for 2 nights while in Ubud. This hotel is beautiful. Lovely gardens and the staff were always friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay here again. Very good value. The only slight downside was the breakfast...a little bit limited but there was enough of everything.

Pleasant stay, nice typical hotel in a good location; average service and not good communication between the staff.

convenient, next to nice restaurants & supermarket
can avoid the busy traffic in the loop of jam Ubud area and very close to supermarket and shopping area.
very friendly staff tho not much selection of breakfast. recommend to get the ground floor room as its more convenient to the pool. right opposit has a good restaurant Bundi Bundi and Dirty duck. best restaurants in Ubud and this hotel is just walking distance to them. to safari is about 40mins and to rice field is about 20mins and more other attraction are no more than 45mins away. Ubud is not big anyway. The bathroom looks a bit weird with rounded rocks on the ground to make it a raw feeling but it is somehow not very my type. the room is very clean and it gives us a cultural feeling of Indonesia. funny part is that this hotel has good pest control and I did not get a single mosquito bite at all. Supermarket is 2min walk to avoid overprice drinks/ beer. the supermarket is a great place to buy most of the gifts. everywhere in Bali is overpriced on everything. This supermarket is pretty good beucase its so close to the hotel.

The room has a nice design and romantic, nice pool
the romantic design of the room (and clean), big bathroom and nice swimming pool.
It was a nice stay. I enjoyed the design of the room, the cleanness, the big bathroom and a nice swimming pool. The things that need to be improved: the internet access and the breakfast.

Great rooms, garden and pool.
Competent staff, beautiful rooms, great service
Great! Efficient and helpful desk staff. They made dinner reservations for me twice and knew the opening and closing hours of museums in the area. Umbrellas for the taking at the front desk. (Nice touch) The ARMA museum is a 7 min. walk and has a wonderful museum with great grounds. Be sure to walk behind the museum buildings themselves as the lead to the ARMA resort ground which are stunning. They also do night time performance -wonderful and the restaurant is quite good as well. Loved the ARMA! Taco Casa is a 4 min. walk to the left-yum. And if you want a delicious dinner, make reservations at Melting Wok Warung (its small-- you need reservations). Run by a French woman married to a cook from Laos--he has developed his own menu which is lmited but out of this world in deliciousness. I loved my time in Ubud and Sahadewa!

Beautiful and Relaxing
Quiet, lush surroundings, great pool, great staff, room was lovely
I loved it here! Stayed 4 nights recently. Solo traveler, this place is just right for a couple or solo traveler. Romantic rooms, great cleaning service. Pool was gorgeous and no one was ever there when I was there so it was quiet and peaceful. Just a reminder to people that the bathroom is not a separate room, there is a curtain to set it off from main room but if traveling with a friend and not a partner it's good to know this maybe. Bed was so comfy, the room decor quite special. I took a deluxe garden view room rather than a pool room. Pool was a 7 second walk and I think the garden rooms are bigger. One day I slept until 1 pm cuz the room was so wonderfully quiet. Great Stay! The pinapple juice (shake) in the a.m. was so nice. Bacon good, sausage was yuck.

Architectural style attracts
The central location enabled easy walking to restaurants and monkey forest yet suits quiet contemplation in a garden atmosphere
The hotel arranged pickup from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, so convenient. The staff were very helpful and knew our names. In spite of the main street being busy and noisy, once in the grounds of the hotel, the noise had gone. The human-sized building two story, made access easy.

The hotel needs upgrade
The location is good, local restaurant serve good food, supermarket right next to the hotel
The stay is ok. But the hotel needs upgrade. One of our room's bath tub and sink is really dirty as the drainage is not working. Water is already accumulated to a foot deep before the shower is finished. There is no in-room internet in comparison to other hotels i stayed in the same area. Very disappointed that the hotel doesn't provide hair dryer for every room. Requesting for one is difficult as they only have a few to be shared by all the guests in the hotel. We are relieved that the hotel staff let us change room the following day, however, the sink is not draining efficiently for the new room too. The hotel is nicely situated, but doesn't fit the bill of a 3 star hotel.
