very private, our own pool, our own cabana, our own garden, 2 butlers from 7 am until 10pm. Booked the brand new private villas at this hotel, the villas are only 2 months old, brand new and it shows. Very good quality,best for a couple, i had my 2 daughters with me, so i slept on the sofabed which was OK, the private garden, the service from the butlers, our own pool and our own cabana made this vacation very special, we felt like VIP,s, and was treated very nice, the very best service from the butlers.

well appointed rooms, great friendly staff at check-in and in restaurants, direct beach front access with local cafes within easy walking distance Food quality is good but we had higher expectations. Not a place like Singapore where we wd return just for the food If you are looking for direct beach front access without the hustling that goes on in Kuta - yet be connected to Bali, this is the place to be. If you want 5 star seclusion, go to Nusa Dua and Jimbaran and stay safely cocooned. Sanur has a long boardwalk that connects all the major hotels and beaches. It is not for surfers as the waters are clamed by the surrounding coral reefs. Great for parasailing,jet-skiing.We stayed 2 weeks in Bali, the 1st in Sanur, then at Tanjong Benoa in a private villa - the kids all would go back to Sanur.
Restaurant Tip : The better restaurants are at the Mercure Hotel end of the beach - and you can pre-order the live seafood in advance at much cheaper prices than Kuta/Jimbaran. Try Treo's!

Good service, good food and entertainment. room could have been a little nicer for a 4 star. I Loved the service, particularly when we first got there. Greeted with a cool drink while checking in. They were also helpful in attaining taxis. I was a little disapointed with the slightly outdated bathroom. Unfortunately, I lost my itouch in the lobby and even with a large reward it was not found, but more fault to myself then the hotel. The location of the hotel was quite close to a main shopping and dining street. Food at the hotel resturaunt was good
Nightlife Tip : a close open bar with some live music on weekends.
