Not near the beach.
Rooms are a bit old.
pricey.
The rooms we got were just like any other ordinary room.Also the beach at walking distance is not at all gud....But the hotel had facilities for going to a private beach which unfortunately we cudnot go...may be that ws gud.But the hotel is faraway from any sort of happenings....i wud suggest a hotel in Kuta or Nusa Dua.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If u book a taxi be sure of the places u want to visit.If we leave it to the TAxi driver he just takes us to the shopping & eating outlets where they have commision.Bargain everywhere almost to 25-30 percent of price.

The customer service desk was not staffed on the two occasions I called to ask for assistance.
We were travelling as a couple and the hotel is well patronised by tour groups. This can be intimidating when tour groups arrive en masse as a couple is then totally outnumbered. This is not the fault of the hotel but something to bear in mind when booking.That is out only reservation to recommending this hotel whole heartedly.
Shopping Tip : Lots of shopping on the shuttle bus route. Also lots of beachfront eateries adjacent to the hotel beach. Delicious food at keen prices and very festive holiday vibe.

the rooms were very nice and if you get a pool room the you walk right out your door to it , the breakfast was great , and room service was prompt
can be noisey with kids in the pool
nice place to stay, short walk to the beach but needs a walk way down driveway to get to the foot path, food was great but a bit pricer to eat in,could have better access to parking area for bikes if you hire one , and there was no one at the pool side to see if you wanted drinks like some other hotels.
Shopping Tip : if you hire a scooter you can get them for 40,000 a day about $5 au and you cam travel around sanuar fairly saftly with out having people trying to sell you somthing this is great as it cost you at least 30,000 one way just to get into the main street in sanuar one block back plus they are alot of fun and keep you cool, just keep to the left 1.5 - 2m off the kerb so you dont hit some one pulling out onto the street and beep at everything
