Pleasent hotel in Sanur area
nice sanur area, two swimming pools and tropical garden
8.3
Segara Village Hotel is located in a beautiful tropical garden. There are two swimming pools in the hotel. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly. Unfortunately rooms are not convenient. Who has invented these stupid rooms with wardrobe in the bathroom? Our room was small. And there was a table (!) and wardrobe in the bathroom.
Restaurant Tip:
You can find shrimps avocado in the restarants near the hotel. It's great!

The place overall is not very intimate and to large if you are wanting to socialise. Great pool but not enough pool chairs by far, very dissapointing as the hotel has a 2 hr policy to remove belongs from chairs so other patrons can utilise them but
a) this policy was never followed through.
b) This place must attract self centred people as I noticed personal belongings left there all day!! without a thought for others.
Jacuzzi bar there is fantastic with friendly obliging staff.
Laundry EXTREMLY expensive and shrunk all of my brand new clothes and no one offered anything in return!
You had to pay for alot of extra activities like bikes and gears. For the price you pay there should be more freebies.
Rooms are very average for a 4 star hotel even with there latest renovation, you can see it was a budget job, and not worth at all what you pay. Grounds, pools, beds very comfortable and surroundings beautiful but thats it really. Overall was a let down.
Travel tip:
Do not use their laundromat unless you explicitly request they wash your in clothes in cold water

Good hotel for couples that wants a relaxing athos
Nice location close to the beach
4.3
The location of the hotel is perfect if you are after a place to rest and relax. The beach is close and there is a walking path along the beach so you don't have to be bothered by cars and motorbikes. There are lots of restaurants both with a beach view and on the street parallel to the beach. We found though that the quality of the food was not the best. Too touristic and not really Indonesian.

Nice hotel
Very nice swimming pool and located right at the beach, nice cottages
7
The hotel is too expensive. The cottage was very nice and nice bathroom, the swimming pool is nice too and the location is perfect rigth on the beach, but there is no internet access in rooms, no safety deposit box, no gym/fitness center and the restaurant is quite expensive. Overall it was a nice hotel, but far too expensive compared with other hotels

Great escape
Location on the beach and away from the hustle of kuta, spacious gardens and pools
7.3
Segara was a great place to get away and relax. Staying at the village 2 was good as you get free drinks from 5 til 7 every night, and a separate pool to get away from it all by. No beach view from the segara 2 pool though. Staff were generally great although you could be left waiting 15 min for a drink from the butler depending on who was on.

Superb Segara!
Great spot - right on the beach, good sized rooms, good breakfast buffet
9.7
The Segara hotel was very well equipped, clean, friendly and a fantastic location. The gardens were superbly maintained with lots of nooks and crannies to hide away in,to relax and read a book or 2. Great breakfast buffet providing lots of options and the restaurant looked out over the beach - a perfect spot to eat your brekkie whilst watching the sun come up. My only gripe was that there didn't seem to be enough sunbeds. Not sure if that is really fault of the hotel or just the selfishness of people in reserving sunbeds for the whole day, even when they are not using them! Would definitely stay here again though!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you like eating local food the night market in Sanur is a must!

Loved it!
Great location, Helpful staff, very relaxing, Cool pools
9.7
We finished our holiday in Bali here. I think the reason we had such a great time was becasue they upgraded us to a much nicer room. BUT there was a catch. The air-con in our room wasn't working 100% and was very hard to sleep at night!
The pools are very nice, (all 3 of them) and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
It's location is PERFECT!
Right next door to small shops/markets and a 10 min walk to the main street. Loved our stay here. Lots to do inside the resort and out!
Restaurant Tip:
The food comes with a large tax in most places, so check the menu carefully!

Senur beach
Very nice grounds and pool

It was short but very pleasant. Took along the beach front tio the south where we found more than a few resturants. Plenty offers of massage (real) etc. all but a few vendors understood "no". The walk along the beach going north at night was very tranquil. No shops!

A very enjoyable stay with nice staff. Hire a bike and ride along the beach front. Make sure you go both ways for a different sight of Bali especially at low tide.
Shopping Tip:
Don't let the market sellers take you to their shop. It is much more relaxing if you walk around the market by yourself and decide what shops you want to enter.
