Great rooms best bed i have slept in

Semara Resort is close to some quality Restaurants and upmarket bars. Staff at Hotel couldnt do enough for us with regular request for the free ice bucket to help polish off the Duty Free. Thanks Rendra from the front dest for getting my phone back i lost in a cab.
Travel tip:
This hotel is great for couples with young children a very safe enviroment with excellent staff and very clean. Amenities are excellent including a kids club for those who want to leave their kids and go out for tea from 7-12 every night. Probably not so good for single people travelling as we did but was very relaxing.

Great stay at the hotel, perfect location, nice pool. But pool side rooms are for couples, don't book if you are traveling with a child - too small. Everything was Kids friendly though.

the room was amazing, the large balcony was huge with comfortable furniture and room to relax with friends for late afternoon drinks

The Semara is a super clean and modern groovy spot! Excellent breakfast, a great gym and the pool is superb for lap swimming with ropes in for the early morning fanatics. the pool area is well designed to give maximum sun and shade and the back pool suits a lazy afternoon with no children.
Restaurant Tip:
Right next door to the superb 'Potato Head bar and restaurant" - a must do!

We had great time in Semara Seminyak. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner meeting until quite late night and the restaurant (The Deck) was actually already closed the bill, but my colleague asked if she can have a cup of tea and the waiter there re-opened the bill and even boil the water himself (the kitchen was closed and nobody was there!), awesome service. My business partners who stayed at superior poolside loved their room, that time I took the poolside room which is very nice, but next time I should take the superior poolside instead. :)
Another thing I like is the location, it's in the middle of Seminyak, lots of nice shops and restaurants. Love the experience..
Restaurant Tip:
Around 20-25 mins from Semara there's restaurant called CHANDI, die die must try their chocolate melted fondant! Absolutely brilliant!

The too was a little small for us with a portacot. We have stayed before the baby arrived and would definately return. Love the cleanliness, deck restaurant and the staff are always smiling

about a 20 minute walk to the Seminyak shopping/restaurant stretch which can be quite a walk with the heat and dust. but for party goers - hotel is surrounded by decent clubs, all within 5 minutes walk (did not personally make a visit but my friends did) namely potato head, living room and Hu'u Bar. hotel has free wi-fi and connection was good throughout my stay. nightly turn down service.

semara hotel is a great place to stay in the heart of seminyak located right next to potato head. all the top restaurants are all in walking distance or a very short taxi ride away. tropical relaxing hotel with really nice decent sized pool and luxurious sized executive rooms with balcony and daybed. all staff were lovely and cheerful and greet you no matter what time of the day or night. would definately recommend and stay on our next visit to bali!
Restaurant Tip:
Potato head, Ku de ta, La lucciola and Sarong are all great restaurants within walking distance of resort

the hotel was well presented, with exceptionally friendly staff. i found the rooms to be quite samm for a superior level room, in comparison to other hotels i have stayed at. we were situated in near the superior section pool and upstairs, although did requests down stairs room months in advance. the noise from the many children and their parents was heard even from early morning and we were unable to have any lay ins past 7am due to the noise. the bathrooms were well presented, although our rooms were not cleaned until at least past 3pm each day which i found quite annoying as we were paying such a high rate. the food was delicious and we often ate lunch at the restaurant

Loved the staff and amenities but the rooms are small and not laid out well. Lack of hanging space foor bathers etc. and no room on bathroom vanity for toiletries . Pool area and restuarants excellent
