Sense hotel is well located in a central part of Seminyak. Getting around is easy. The rooms are of a good size although bathrooms are a little small. The one downside would be the efficientcy of the staff who do try to please but often fail.

Great stay although the pool area only has a hour or so of sun per day. We were also rung at 9.45 at night to ask if we were checking out the following day, followed by a knock on the door to check our mini bar. I feel this could have waited till morning.

Friendly staff. Though almost everyone i met in Bali are friendly.

Staff: friendly. But this is pretty much the norm in SE asia actually.
Room: reasonably clean but not designed well. Comfortable bed. Lousy sofa. No plug in the shower room for hair dryer.
Wifi: simply ridiculous. Its so slow and unstable.
Restaurant: pricey with medicore food.
Location: within walking distance to the beach and Jl Laksmana(eating street)
Conclusion: stay somewhere else. You are in Bali; you deserve better.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Sense hotel, within 5-10 minutes walk of everything. The rooms were spacious and clean, beautifully decorated throuoghout, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommend for the traveller who has a bit of cash (more flashpacker than back packer) and wants a little comfor without paying a fortune for it. Free shuttle service too. Highly recommend.

Quiet relaxing comfortable

I enjoyed a very pleasant relaxing two days. The room was very clean and well appointed. The staff were unobtrusive - but quick to respond to any request - always with a smile. I will stay there again

Disappointing and below expectations

The reviews I read prior to booking this property overrated it and I was very disappointed at the standard of the rooms. The food was very ordinary , room small , towels stained and re-used by the pool with staff folding used towels on the poolside lounges for re-use.
This property is "ok" but definitely no-where near the standard that reviews led me to believe. If it had been cheap it would have been acceptable but for around the same price there are many hotels that are much better !

we stayed at the superior room. the check in was quick. the room was of moderate size with comfortable beds, although the bathroom was pretty small in comparison. the hotel staffs were helpful no matter what time of the day it was. the best thing was they always had a smile on their faces. breakfast was ok with just the essentials. to sum up i would like to stay here again.
