Overall we were pleased with our stay at Sudamala. When my husband wanted to bike (free rental) to the beach, a staff member went with him to show him the way. Once there, however, he was disappointed with the beach and the facilities there. It was dirty and uninviting. The hotel pool area is pretty. However, the water is so warm, almost hot, that you cannot feel refreshed from a swim. The room was large and comfortable but the unique layout of outdoor shower and open bathroom make them impossible to air condition and can therefore get hot and humid. I still think it is one of the best choices in Sanur. You will probably avoid large bus tours there and the peace and quiet is wonderful.
