Not towels, inconsistency in the quality of room service food, no pool

the hotel has a great location, near the warf side bars, resturants and BBQ markets. However there is very little to do within the hotel itself. it is a great place for a stop over (I utilised this hotel three times on my recent trip to borneo as a stop over). the coffee with breakfast is very nice though there is a limited veiw from the restaurant and the pool was closed and appeared to have been closed for quiet some time. the rooms were nice and comfortable and clean.

Hotel Feature Tip : I left some bags in storage at the hotel on an umber of occasions and on each occasion the bags remained safe and untouched.

Location, fraindly staff

Food and towels (for some reason there was no towels in the room twice)and the pool is closed because they can't get a licence (major bummer)

This is a great little hotel if you want to spend time in down town kinabalu, it is cheap to get to from the air port and is close to the nice warf side bars, resturants and markets. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable with great showers. The staff were freindly and the room service was either great or terible (Had one awsome carbonara which was hot and delicious however the other dish a steak was cold tough and very ordinary, the next night the carbonara was cold and the spageti bol was great). Breakfasts where a pretty plain afair though the coffee was great. With the pool out of action there was very little to do in the hotel. This hotel is great for stop overs however I wouldn't recomend it for more than a two days.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The markets are a great place to go for fresh sea food, just make sure you determine the price of the meal before they start cooking. The bars allong the board walk are great. I also recomend a champagne breakfast on the warf (BYO champaign)

Located on a beautiful hill with a majestic view of the vally, the beach and with Hindu temples on a nearby hillside. Comfortable rooms.

Needs wifi in the rooms.

The hotel represents good value, convenient to Convention Centre and the beaches. The roof top restaurant has an exceptional view of the valley below and the bay. I was there at dawn seeing the sun rise over the sea. With the neighbouring temples it was an almost mystical moment. Service is friendly if a lttle laidback.
