Overall, it was good for the small price that we paid.Friendly hosts. Room was clean. We asked for towels and shampoo and soap and we received them. Although quite beautiful, I wish that the garden had been larger. It is quite small actually. Also, as it was hot in Bali, an aircon room would have been a better choice. Breakfast was small but pleasant. Would use this hotel again.

good location, within 10mins walking distance to main attraction and shops and restaurants. family run guesthouse, were so accomodating and friendly. breakfast was included and was the best we have had whilst travelling around se asia. banana pancakes, and banana jaffle. rooms clean. would stay again!!

Lovely garden, nice staff, but no water last day

The overall is so so. However, the value follows the amount of money you pay. There is little breakfast, but yummy. I love omelette and banana crape at this place so much.
The room is just ok. The bathroom doesn't look so clean. There is slow flow of shower water coz the water pipe shares to all rooms at this hotel. It's hard to control warm water. I always got either too hot or too cold water. So, this is considered bad at this hotel. Moreover, there was no water on the last day in the morning. Anyway, the owner tried to get water from another house for us, but it's not enough for taking a shower. I think the hotel should have better management when there is no water from public source.
There is a great small eatery not far from the hotel. I don't remember the name of this restaurant, but it's name like "GBC" = "Great Bali Coffee" or something like that. "Fried Rice" is the best menu that I tried. I'd like to come to this restaurant again. It's not expensive. My fried rice costs 18 rp.
Shopping Tip:
Coco market is the cheapest supermarket in this area. It's not far from the hotel. If you wanna buy foods and drinks , you should buy from here. For souvinirs like art woods, you should buy at Krisna shop near the airport. It's very cheap and you don't have to bargain the price with the sellers.

clean rooms surround with many plants..a place suitable to environmentalists..the only problem is the shower..the hot water supply sometimes work sometimes not..if want to bath on the morning, it is a trouble when the hot water supply not work well..

it is a double super single bed room with attached bathroom..provide with a cupboard and a coffee table..there are 2+1+1 chairs with a coffee table outside the room..you are going to have your breakfast there..bathroom has hot/cold shower but sometimes it didn't work..ya..the owner rear a dog naed something sounds like 'rooney'..cute dog..after you wake up in themorning, please tell the worker there to bring you your breakfast..they will take it to your room so you no need to walk to anywhere..just enjoy your breakfast at the coffee table outside your room..you may read some books or magazine provided there at the same time..^^

It is a family business so it was really nice coming back and seeing everyone so warm. Place was really clean and simple. There's no a/c but the fan power is strong enough. Location was just right, not too far in.
Travel tip:
If you need tours and such, do approach the owner himself or the staffs. I'm sure you will get a better price then outside. Worth it!

all the staff are very nice with patient explanation about Ubud. Also the place is nice and good location. The price is superworthy with the service you receive. Although I didn't receive twin beds like i expected, but they immediately fix the problem. Definitely I will come back next time.

We were very dissapointed with Teba House. The small garden was nice the porch was nice the rooms were ok for the money except the horrible moth balls in the wardrope which made all your clothes stink. But the bathrooms was discusting the walls and ceiling was mould upon mould and the floor was black dirty we were booked in for several days but checked out early to find a clean bathroom. The picture on the internet is the owners residents and it is pretty well a fair walk from town. No taxi in street at night hotel was supposed to book but did not and owner was not there. we had a show booked.

The dance show at the palace is a must
