Very affordable & hotel in great location

very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. rooms are clean and valuable for money. but there was a noisy outside the room because of under construction project and the other guests that just coming from night club, maybe there will be nice if the rooms are soundproof.

we enjoyed that the hotel was in a great spot right on the main street. But the rooms were very small and you can hear whats happening in the room next door and every door that opens and closed so didnt have the best sleep. Also we found the menu at the restuarant to not have many options and be over priced. Other then that its nice enough but would prefer to stay somewhere with more the Bali feel and prices

We had a very memorable stay because my husband proposed to me there. Bali was having a storm then, and we couldn't go any where,the well planned proposal at a romantic spot was canceled. Without me knowing the proposal plan going on, my husband was busy arranging a last minute proposal at the hotel. The hotel staff was very kind and help my husband to prepare every night after I sleep..What more can you asked from a boutique hotel with such an excellent customer service?

our 1-night-stay at the 101 was very pleasant. the rooms are very clean and you can enjoy a hot shower. if you're only there for a stopover and want to do some shopping before heading home again - this hotel is the perfect location. within a short stroll you'll find shopping, nightlife, nice restaurants...everything you need. the 101 itself has a very nice roof top restaurant and lounge with a nice view on the roof top pool - great flair up there. i personally wouldn't recommend it for a long term stay for a couple as the rooms are very small.

absolutely loved the 101. it was everything we wanted and more! although our room was quite small we didn't mind as we didn/t go to bali to sit in our room! sometimes we did find it difficult to want o leave the motel as everything we wanted was there, beautiful pool, 3 bars, lovely restaurant and friendly staff!
Travel tip:
If you don't wish to be in the heart of Kuta then this place is not for you, but great for young couples and those people wanting to party!

rooms were a tad small for 2 people; might be better for a single person travelling.
and i got 'bali-belly' from the room service and the food portion sizes were tiny for the price! been numerous times to bali and have never been sick from eating off the street, of all places to get sick its from the hotel food! very poor!
most costs incurred at the hotel were quiet expensive from masssages to food and so where the service taxes!!
id stay again but avoid the food!
Restaurant Tip:
avoid the nachos!!!
recieved bali belly from room serivce at this hotel. breakfast was fine each day, but avoid eating room service from this hotel!
