The Bali Dream Villa Hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is in a remote area of Seminyak, about 10 minutes drive from the beach and Seminyak shops. The location of the villa's is not that great with surrounding areas being mainly weedy looking paddocks! But the villa's themselves make up for the location. You can have breakfast in your villa each day by the pool or in your indoor-outdoor alfresco area. You receive complimentary cakes each afternoon, bottles of water each day and plenty of amenities in the bathrooms. The villa's are quite new, beautifully designed and really well priced. We booked a one bedroom villa and ended up with a 3 bedroom, then 2 bedroom villa which had 3 bathrooms! The courtesay shuttle took you in and out of Seminyak, Legian and Kuta for shopping, restaurants, the beach etc. They were pretty good at getting you to your destination, but not as efficient picking you up on time if at all! Although the time we didn't get picked up, we caught a taxi back to the hotel and the hotel paid the taxi for us. Overall, friendly staff and a beautiful place to stay.
Beautiful villas with lovely gardens, pool and indoor-outdoor areas. The breakfast provided was very large and delicious. They also had a great shuttle service around the Kuta area, although were usualy late on pick ups.
It was very noisy in the first villa we stayed in as a hotel was being built next to it, although we were moved to a new villa with much less noise quite quickly after making a complaint. Also the location is a bit far away from the beach and shops, but only 10 minutes by shuttle.
- Restaurant Tip : La Lucciola is a beautiful restaurant on the beach in Seminyak. However, make sure you book before going as it is soooo popular and we saw heaps of disappointed people turned away at dinner.

Lots of mosquitoes, had double booked our villa, out of the way, kitchen is only in looks - no plates, cutlery, pots or gas. Hot water was a dribble. If you stay in a 2, 3 or 4 bed villa it is up around the corner so all food has to couriered up - food luke warm.

It's a great getaway. The free transport made the difference in terms of getting to the beach, downtown Kuta. Free Internet access meant that we could book all our sea sport activites from the convenience of our villa. We did everything via the Internet.
- Nightlife Tip : Closest to the hotel is the Legian, Seminyak strip. Also Kuta is about 20 minutes away. The hotel transport is great. You could take the free transport to Kuta and then take a cab to Jimbaran Bay where all the great seafood restaurants are located. Jimbaran is about half the price for seafood when compared to Kuta/Seminyak/Legian.
