The location is picture perfect, staff was so attentive and happy to have you. There is many activities on offer by the hotel, but a day at the pool with a message and those amazing strawberry martini's is a must!! Could not of dreamed up a better place!!! Restaurant Tip: Their food is delicious!!! Have a night at the resturant, it was so beautiful watching the sun set!

Private, serene, spectacular 10 My decision to venture up to Lovina while in Bali was last minute, so sadly I was only able to stay at the Damai for one night but it was easily the most magical night of all!! The property is immaculate, every tiny detail is considered with care, right down to the bamboo straw in my welcome mojito :) The staff was gracious and accommodating, the food and cocktails were AMAZING, the entire vide of the Damai is simply dreamy. I went on a dolphin excursion during my stay and everything was flawlessly arranged by them. My villa was stunning, and extremely private and peaceful. My only regret was not knowing about this place sooner. Next time I'm in Bali...I'll stay a WEEK!! Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The dolphin excursion is really something special. Pay a little more to take a speed boat later in the morning, there are fewer boats on the water and the dolphins aren't as shy. It's a beautiful experience seeing them in the wild and the Java sea is simply gorgeous!

Couples Singapore, April 30, 2012	A slice of paradise Privacy, our villa #5, the Mojitea (welcome drink), the gourmet food, the wonderful spa...and the list can go on... 9.3 beautiful place & location (near to the beach). peaceful surroundings with excellent service. food wise - the ginger/honey mojito was the best i've ever had, the home made bread and serving of freshly cut fruits before meal is a great way to start the day. spa was excellent (we tried the damai massage, which involved deep-tissue massage and yoga moves as well); may need a bit more drapes/curtains for undressing/dressing for more conservative people. only slight disappointment, was when we booked the dolphin tour and requested a private boat, which they said it would be private. but it somehow got misunderstood as "private amongst hotel guest only" hence we ended up on a boat with 2 other girls. but to be hones, once we started seeing the dolphins, we were happy. villa 5 was perfectly situated in a corner unit, and short walking distance to pool and restaurant. however pool could use an upgrade, and a little small; more ideal for dipping/soaking not really a pool to swim in.

When we arrived, the general manager moved us to a room closer to the pool and restaurant so that it would be easier for us with the baby. We arranged to do a day's cooking class with Nyoman the head chef. It was a great day meeting at the Singaraja market at 7:00 with Nyoman guiding us through the market. The cooking lesson was done in beautiful surrounds overlooking the hills and we then enjoyed the 7 course feast. We were also able to have the remainders for dinner - excellent! All in all, we loved the Damai, the food and their daily Balinese menu speciality was outstanding and we would say, the best food we had during our month in Bali. There is also a lovely pool. Innovative, friendly and with an eye to excellence at every point. We couldn't recommend the Damai more highly. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Cooking class with the head chef at the Damai - a great day!
